ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಮೋರೀಯಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ಯೆಬೂಸಿ ಯನಾದ ಒರ್ನಾನನ ಕಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
