ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಸೆಯುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಬುರುಜುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮಣ್ಣು ದಿಬ್ಬಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇರಲು ಪ್ರವೀಣರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹೆಸರು ಬಹಳ ದೂರದ ವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಬಹು ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ವನಾಗುವ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ಅವನು ಬಹು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಹೊಂದಿದನು.
