ವರುಷಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಅರಾಮಿನ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಜನರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಅವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.
