2 Chronicles 11 - DBY (Kannada)

1 And Rehoboam came to Jerusalem; and he assembled the house of Judah and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand chosen men apt for war, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾ ವಿಾನಿನವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವರಾಗಿರುವ ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಲಕ್ಷದ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನ ರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದಾಗ

2 But the word of Jehovah came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವ ಶೆಮಾಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು;

3 Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,ಏನಂದರೆ -- ನೀನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿರುವ

4 Thus saith Jehovah: Go not up, nor fight with your brethren; return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. And they hearkened to the words of Jehovah, and returned from going against Jeroboam.ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿ ರುಗಲಿ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೋಗದೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದರು.

5 And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವಲು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.

6 And he built Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,ಯಾವವಂದರೆ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮ್‌ ಏತಾಮ್‌ ತೆಕೋವ

7 and Beth-zur, and Soco, and Adullam,ಬೇತ್ಚೂರ ಸೋಕೋ

8 and Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,ಅದುಲ್ಲಾಮ್‌ ಗತ್‌ಊರು ಮಾರೇಷ್‌

9 and Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,ಜೀಫ್‌ ಅದೋರೈಮ್‌ ಲಾಕೀಷ್‌ ಅಜೇಕ

10 and Zorah, and Ajalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin, fortified cities.ಚೋರ್ಗ ಅಯ್ಯಾಲೋನ್‌ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್‌ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಇವು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾ ವಿಾನ್‌ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.

11 And he fortified the strongholds, and put captains in them, and stores of victuals, and of oil and wine;ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ ಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನೂ ಆಹಾರ ಎಣ್ಣೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಇರುವ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟನು.

12 and in every several city, targets and spears, and made them exceedingly strong. And Judah and Benjamin were his.ಪ್ರತಿ ಪಟ್ಣಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಖೇಡ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಈಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನಿನವರು ಅವನ ಕಡೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

13 And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their districts;ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯಾಜ ಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಪುನಃ ಬಂದರು.

14 for the Levites left their suburbs and their possessions, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from exercising the priesthood to Jehovah;ಲೇವಿಯರು ಕರ್ತ ನಿಗೆ ಯಾಜಕ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾ ಮನೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ

15 and he ordained for himself priests for the high places, and for the he-goats and for the calves that he had made.ದೆವ್ವಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹೋರಿಗಳಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತನಗೆ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉಪನಗರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಬಂದರು.

16 -- And after them, those out of all the tribes of Israel that set their heart to seek Jehovah the God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to Jehovah the God of their fathers.ಇವರ ತರುವಾಯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗೋತ್ರ ಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.

17 And they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong three years; for during three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿ ಸೊಲೊ ಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ವರುಷಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಮೂರು ವರುಷಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ದಾವೀದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನ ಇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದರು.

18 And Rehoboam took Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David as wife, [and of] Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse.ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆರೀ ಮೋತನಿಗೆ ಇಷಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗಳೂ ಎಲೀಯಾಬನ ಮಗಳು ಆದ ಅಬೀಹೈಲಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಹ್ಲತ್‌ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.

19 And she bore him children: Jeush, and Shemariah, and Zaham.ಅಬೀಹೈಲಳು ಯೆಗೂಷ್‌, ಶೆಮರ್ಯ, ಜಾಹಮ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.

20 And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.ಇವಳ ತರು ವಾಯ ಅವನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಾಕ ಳನ್ನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು. ಇವಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಬೀಯನ್ನೂ ಅತ್ತೈಯನ್ನೂ ಜೀಜನನ್ನೂ ಶೆಲೋ ವಿಾತನ್ನೂ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.

21 And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines; for he had taken eighteen wives and sixty concubines, and he begot twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ಅರವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಉಪ ಪತ್ನಿಯರೂ ಇದ್ದರು; ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಅರವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಯರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋ ಮನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮಾಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದನು.

22 And Rehoboam established Abijah the son of Maachah at the head, to be ruler among his brethren; for [he thought] to make him king.ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಮಾಕಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀಯನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

23 And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his sons throughout all the lands of Judah and Benjamin, to all the fortified cities; and he gave them food in abundance. And he desired [for them] a multitude of wives.ಅವನು ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ನಡೆದು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾ ನಿನ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಲವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗ ಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದುರಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬಹಳ ದವಸಧಾನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಆದರೆ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ಸಮೂಹವನ್ನು ಆಶಿಸಿದನು.
