ಆದರೆ ಹಿರಿಯರು ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬೆಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--

Isaiah 30:1
ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತಿರುಗಿ ಬೀಳುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಅವರು ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗದೆ ಉಪಾಯವನ್ನು ನೇಯ್ದು ಪಾಪದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
