ಇಗೋನಾನು ಎದೋಮ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕೊಚ್ಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಈಗ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತಿರು. ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆಹೂದವೂ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಕೈ ಹಾಕುವದೇನು ಅಂದನು.
