ಕರ್ತನು ಸಮುವೇಲನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನ ಎರಡು ಕಿವಿಗಳೂ ಘಣಘಣಿಸುವವು;
