ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ--ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ--ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಊರಾದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು; ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ವರುಷದ ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು.
