1 Samuel 20:2
ಅವನು ಇವನಿಗೆ--ಅದು ಆಗಬಾರದು; ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಯಾವ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನಾದರೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟನು? ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗದು ಅಂದನು.

Luke 20:16
ಅವನು ಬಂದು ಈ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟ ವನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವನು ಅಂದನು. ಅವರು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ--ಹಾಗೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಆಗಬಾರದು ಅಂದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಜನರು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಯನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ ಯೋನಾತಾನನು ಸಾಯ ಬಹುದೋ? ಅದು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಆಗದು; ಅವನು ಇಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಹಾಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಣೆ, ಅವನ ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಕೂದಲಾದರೂ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಬಾರದು ಅಂದರು. ಜನರು ಯೋನಾತಾನನನ್ನು ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

John 17:8
ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದವನೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದು ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಯೆಂದು ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
