fullscreen27 ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೊಬ್ಬನು ಏಲಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಫರೋ ಹನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾದದ್ದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

fullscreen28 ನನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞ ವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಏಫೋ ದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿರ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡುವ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

fullscreen29 ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ತಮ್ಮ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ಒದ್ದು ನನಗಿಂತ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವದೇನು?

fullscreen30 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವ ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನಗೆ ಅದು ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸು ವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸು ವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವೆನು.

fullscreen31 ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮುದುಕನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತೋಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರ ತೋಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಛೇದಿಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಬರುವವು.

fullscreen32 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಕಲ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದವು ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ವೈರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವಿ; ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮುದುಕನೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

fullscreen33 ನನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞ ವೇದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಡದ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ವೇದನೆಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇರುವನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವ ರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರಾದಾಗಲೇ ಸಾಯುವರು.

fullscreen34 ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ಹೊಫ್ನಿಯು ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ಎಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವರು.

fullscreen35 ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೂ ಸಮ ರ್ಪಕವಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯಾಜಕನನ್ನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರ ವಾದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

27 And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

28 And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

29 Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

30 Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

31 Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

32 And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

33 And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

34 And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

28 ನನ್ನ ಯಜ್ಞ ವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಏಫೋ ದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿರ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡುವ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

29 ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ತಮ್ಮ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೀವು ಒದ್ದು ನನಗಿಂತ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವದೇನು?
Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

30 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವ ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನಗೆ ಅದು ದೂರವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸು ವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸು ವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುವೆನು.
Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

31 ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮುದುಕನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ತೋಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರ ತೋಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಛೇದಿಸುವ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಬರುವವು.
Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

32 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಕಲ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದವು ಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ವೈರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವಿ; ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮುದುಕನೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.
And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

34 ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಗುರುತಾಗಿ ಹೊಫ್ನಿಯು ಫೀನೆಹಾಸನು ಎಂಬ ನಿನ್ನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವರು.
And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

35 ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೂ ಸಮ ರ್ಪಕವಾದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಾದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯಾಜಕನನ್ನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಿರ ವಾದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವೆನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
