1 Samuel 2:25
ಮನು ಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಅವನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವರು.ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕವನು ಯಾರು ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕ ಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದನಷ್ಟೆ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆಹೋದರು.

Deuteronomy 25:1
ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ವಿರೋಧವಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ವಿಕೆ ಹೊಂದುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದೂ ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದೂ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಬೇಕು.
Deuteronomy 17:8

ನ್ಯಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ನೋಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಹಿರಿಯನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಕಿರಿಯನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕು; ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ದೇವರದೇ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತನ್ನಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.
