ಆದರೆ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಉಂಟಾ ಯಿತು; ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಹೋಗಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಂಹಾರ ದಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದನು; ಅವರು ಅವನ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋದರು.
