ನನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಯೋನಾತಾನ ನಿಂದಾದರೂ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯಲೇ ಸಾಯುವನೆಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆದರೆ ಸಕಲ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
