1 Samuel 11:14
ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೂತನಪಡಿ ಸೋಣ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನಿಕರು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗ ಮಾಡಲು ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಅರಸ ನಾಗ ಮಾಡಲು ಒಂದೇ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
