1 Samuel 1:23
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನಾದ ಎಲ್ಕಾನನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿ ತೋರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡು. ಅವನು ಮೊಲೆ ಬಿಡುವವರೆಗೂ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರು. ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಮಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವಳು ಉಳಿದು ತನ್ನ ಮಗುವು ಮೊಲೆ ಬಿಡುವವರೆಗೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮೊಲೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.
