ಹನ್ನಳು ಗರ್ಭವತಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಲವು ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಆದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ, ಅವಳು ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತು--ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮುವೇಲನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು.
