1 Peter 3 - DBY (Kannada)

1 Likewise, wives, [be] subject to your own husbands, that, even if any are disobedient to the word, they may be gained without [the] word by the conversation of the wives,ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ. ಯಾರಾದರೂ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ನಡತೆಯಿಂದ ವಾಕ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ

2 having witnessed your pure conversation [carried out] in fear;ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಭಯಭರಿತವಾದ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ನೋಡಲಿ.

3 whose adorning let it not be that outward one of tressing of hair, and wearing gold, or putting on apparel;ಜಡೆ ಹೆಣೆದುಕೊ ಳ್ಳುವದೂ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಒಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಉಡಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೂ ಈ ಹೊರ ಗಣ ಅಲಂಕಾರವು ಬೇಡ.

4 but the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible [ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which in the sight of God is of great price.ಆದರೆ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕವಾದ ಶಾಂತ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಎಂಬ ಹೃದಯದ ಮರೆಯಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಅಲಂಕಾರವೇ ನಿಮಗಿರಲಿ. ಇದು ಅಕ್ಷಯ ವಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಹು ಬೆಲೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.

5 For thus also the holy women who have hoped in God heretofore adorned themselves, being subject to their own husbands;ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಸಹ ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಲಂಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂ ದಿರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

6 as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord; whose children ye have become, doing good, and not fearing with any kind of consternation.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಾರಳು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಜಮಾನ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದಳು. ನೀವು ಸಾರಳ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ; ನೀವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದಾದರೆ ಯಾವ ಭೀತಿಗೂ ಗಾಬರಿ ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 [Ye] husbands likewise, dwell with [them] according to knowledge, as with a weaker, [even] the female, vessel, giving [them] honour, as also fellow-heirs of [the] grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಪುರಷರೇ, ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಬಲಹೀನ ಳೆಂಬದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ಇರ್ರಿ. ಅವರು ಜೀವದ ಕೃಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ನಡೆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

8 Finally, [be] all of one mind, sympathising, full of brotherly love, tender hearted, humble minded;ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಕ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸಹೋದರ ರಂತೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ; ಕನಿಕರವೂ ದೀನ ಭಾವವೂ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.

9 not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary, blessing [others], because ye have been called to this, that ye should inherit blessing.ಅಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ನಿಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿರಿ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದನಲ್ಲಾ; ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವವರಾದ ನೀವು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವಿ ರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.

10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him cause his tongue to cease from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಸುದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟವುಳ್ಳವನು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ದ್ದನ್ನು ನುಡಿಯದಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಂಚನೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಿಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿ.

11 And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it;ಅವನು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ; ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಪಡಲಿ.

12 because [the] eyes of [the] Lord [are] on [the] righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but [the] face of [the] Lord [is] against them that do evil.ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಮೇಲಿದೆ. ಆತನು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿ ಗೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಖವು ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

13 And who shall injure you if ye have become imitators of that which [is] good?ನೀವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?

14 But if also ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed [are ye]; but be not afraid of their fear, neither be troubled;ನೀವು ನೀತಿಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೇ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಸಂತೋಷವುಳ್ಳವರು. ಅವರ ಬೆದರಿಸುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಳವಳ ಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

15 but sanctify [the] Lord the Christ in your hearts, and [be] always prepared to [give] an answer [to] every one that asks you to give an account of the hope that [is] in you, but with meekness and fear;ಆದರೆ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಪಡಿಸಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಆಧಾರವೇನೆಂದು ಕೇಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಸಾತ್ವಿಕತ್ವ ದಿಂದಲೂ ಭಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಉತ್ತರ ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ;

16 having a good conscience, that [as to that] in which they speak against you as evildoers, they may be ashamed who calumniate your good conversation in Christ.ಒಳ್ಳೇಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಆಗ ನೀವು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವ ರೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗಿ ದೂರು ಹೇಳುವವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡುವವರು.

17 For [it is] better, if the will of God should will it, to suffer [as] well-doers than [as] evildoers;ಕೆಟ್ಟ ನಡತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಬಾಧೆಪಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಒಳ್ಳೇನಡತೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿಯೇ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತವಿದ್ದರೆ ಬಾಧೆಪಡುವದು ಲೇಸು.

18 for Christ indeed has once suffered for sins, [the] just for [the] unjust, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in flesh, but made alive in [the] Spirit,ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಸಹ ನೀತಿವಂತ ನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅನೀತಿವಂತರಾದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪಾಪನಿವಾರಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟು ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು, ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಬದುಕುವವನಾದನು.

19 in which also going he preached to the spirits [which are] in prison,ಆತನು ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಆತ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಾರಿದನು;

20 heretofore disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in [the] days of Noah while the ark was preparing, into which few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water:ಆದರೆ ನೋಹನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರಲು ದೇವರ ದೀರ್ಘಶಾಂತಿಯು ಒಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಕಾದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾ ಗಿದ್ದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆತನು ಸಾರಿದನು. ಆ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಎಂಟೇ ಜನರು ನೀರಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದರು.

21 which figure also now saves you, [even] baptism, not a putting away of [the] filth of flesh, but [the] demand as before God of a good conscience, by [the] resurrection of Jesus Christ,ಆ ನೀರಿಗೆ ಅನುರೂಪವಾದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮವು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; (ಅದು ಮೈಕೊಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿ ಸುವಂಥದ್ದಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿದೆ).

22 who is at [the] right hand of God, gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being subjected to him.ಆತನು ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ದೇವರ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ದೂತರೂ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ಗಳೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಗಳೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
