1 Peter 2:1-10 in Kannada

1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,

8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಂಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಪಟವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಟ್ಟೇ ಕಿಚ್ಚನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಸರ್ಜಿಸಿರಿ.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

2 ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಶಿಶುಗಳಂತಿರುವ ನೀವು ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂಬ ಶುದ್ಧ ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿರಿ.

3 ಕರ್ತನು ಕೃಪಾಳುವೆಂದು ನೀವು ರುಚಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ.
If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 ನೀವು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಕಲ್ಲಾಗಿರು ವಾತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದು ದೇವ ರಿಂದ ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದದ್ದೂ ಆಯಿತು.
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 ನೀವು ಸಹ ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಆತ್ಮಸಂಬಂಧ ವಾದ ಮಂದಿರವಾಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ವಾದ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯಾಜಕ ವರ್ಗದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲೆ ಗಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅದು ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು, ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ವಾದದ್ದು; ಆತನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವವನು ಆಶಾಭಂಗ ಪಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬರಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.

7 ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಂಬುವವರಾದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆತನು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವಿಧೇಯರಿಗಾ ದರೋ ಮನೆಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು.

8 ಅದು ಎಡವುವ ಕಲ್ಲೂ ಮುಗ್ಗರಿಸುವ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ; ಅವರು ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಿಧೇಯರಾದದರಿಂದ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಎಡವಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಅವರು ನೇಮಕವಾದರು.

9 ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೊಳಗಿದ್ದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾದ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿದಾತನ ಸ್ತುತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವವ ರಾಗುವಂತೆ ನೀವು ಆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಂಶದವರೂ ರಾಜರಾದ ಯಾಜಕವರ್ಗದವರೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಜನಾಂಗವೂ ಅಸಮಾನ್ಯರಾದ ಜನರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

10 ಮೊದಲು ನೀವು ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಈಗ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಜೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಮೊದಲು ಕರುಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಈಗ ಕರುಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
