ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯ ಅಂಗಳವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದಿರುವ ತಾಮ್ರದ ಬಲಿ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಇಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳ ಸಾಲದೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
