1 Kings 21:6
ಅವನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಇಜ್ರೇಲ್ಯನಾದ ನಾಬೋ ತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನಿನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡು; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನುನನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ನೀವು ಆಶಿಸಿದರೂ ಹೊಂದದೆ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ. ನೀವು ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತೀರಿ, ಹೊಂದಲು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ, ಆದರೆ ಪಡೆಯಲಾರಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಕಾದಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ, ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನೀವು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಕಾರಣ ನಿಮಗೇನೂ ದೊರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
