ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದಿರುವ ದಂಡಿನವರು ಕೇಳಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿನೊಳಗೆ ದಂಡಿನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಒಮ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
