1 Kings 15
1 ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಹದಿನೆಂಟನೇ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬೀಯಾಮನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುತ್ತಿ ದ್ದನು.
2 ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಬೀಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮಗ ಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಾಕಾ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
3 ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಹೃದಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿರದೆ ತನಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದನು.
4 ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
5 ದಾವೀದನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಊರೀಯನ ವಿಷಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಿತದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಲಗದೆ ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು. ಆದರೆ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಜೀವಾಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು.
6 ಅಬೀಯಾಮನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಲ್ಲವೋ?
7 ಅಬೀಯಾಮನಿಗೂ ಯಾರೂಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
8 ಅಬೀಯಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿ ದನು; ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿ ಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.
1 Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.
2 Three years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Maachah, the daughter of Abishalom.
3 And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father.
4 Nevertheless for David’s sake did the Lord his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:
5 Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
6 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
7 Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
8 And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.

Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah.
2 ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಬೀಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮಗ ಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಮಾಕಾ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳವಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.

And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father.
4 ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Nevertheless for David’s sake did the Lord his God give him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem:
5 ದಾವೀದನು ಹಿತ್ತಿಯನಾದ ಊರೀಯನ ವಿಷಯ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಿತದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ತನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದಕ್ಕೆ ತೊಲಗದೆ ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದನು. ಆದರೆ ರೆಹಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಜೀವಾಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಉಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
6 ಅಬೀಯಾಮನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಲ್ಲವೋ?

8 ಅಬೀಯಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗಿ ದನು; ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿ ಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.
And Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead.
