ಆಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪತ್ನಿ ಎದ್ದು ಹೊರಟು ತಿರ್ಚಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಳು. ಕರ್ತನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿರುವ ಅಹೀಯನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವಳು ಬಾಗಿಲ ಹೊಸ್ತಿಲ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಮಗನು ಸತ್ತನು.
