ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಿದ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಟನೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಹದಿನೈದನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾನೇ ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟನು.
