1 John 2
1 ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವು ಪಾಪಮಾಡ ದಂತೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯು ತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದರೆ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷವಾದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
2 ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಲೋಕದ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
3 ನಾವು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯು ವದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ತಿಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
4 ಒಬ್ಬನು--ನಾನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಸತ್ಯವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.
5 ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆದರೆ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ದೇವೆಂಬದನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
6 ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆ ಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವವನು ಆತನು ನಡೆ ದಂತೆಯೇ ತಾನೂ ನಡೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

3 ನಾವು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯು ವದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ತಿಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

4 ಒಬ್ಬನು--ನಾನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಸತ್ಯವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.
