அபிமெலேக்கு அந்நாள் முழுவதும் பட்டணத்தின்மேல் யுத்தம்பண்ணி, பட்டணத்தைப் பிடித்து, அதிலிருந்த ஜனங்களைக் கொன்று, பட்டணத்தை இடித்து விட்டு, அதில் உப்பு விதைத்தான்.
