ஏபேதின் குமாரன் காகால் புறப்பட்டு, பட்டணத்தின் ஒலிமுகவாசலில் நின்றான்; அப்பொழுது பதிவிருந்த அபிமெலேக்கு தன்னோடிருக்கிற ஜனங்களோடேகூட எழும்பிவந்தான்.
