17 அன்றியும் அவருடனேகூட இருந்த ஜனங்கள் அவர் லாசருவைக் கல்லறையிலிருந்து வெளியே வரவழைத்து, அவனை உயிரோடே எழுப்பினாரென்று சாட்சிகொடுத்தார்கள்.
18 அப்படிப்பட்ட அற்புதத்தை அவர் செய்தார் என்று ஜனங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டதினால் அவர்கள் அவருக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.
19 அப்பொழுது பரிசேயர் ஒருவரையொருவர் நோக்கி நீங்கள் செய்கிறதெல்லாம் வீணென்று அறிகிறதில்லையா? இதோ, உலகமே அவனுக்குப் பின்சென்று போயிற்றே என்றார்கள்.
17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
