Job 34 in Tamil

1 பின்னும் எலிகூ மாறுத்தரமாக: Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

2 ஞானிகளே, என் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளுங்கள்; அறிவாளிகளே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள். Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

3 வாயானது போஜனத்தை ருசிபார்க்கிறதுபோல, செவியானது வார்த்தைகளைச் சோதித்துப்Ϊார்க்கும். For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

4 நமக்Εாக நியாயமானΤைத் தெரிந்துகφாள்வோமாக; நனύமை இன்னதென்று நமக்குள்ளே அறிந்த`Εொள்வோமாக. Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

5 யோபு: நான் நீதிமான்; தேவன் என் நியாயத்தைத் தள்ளிவிட்டாரென்றும், For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

6 நியாயம் என்னிடத்தில் இருந்தும் நான் பொய்யனென்று எண்ணப்படுகிறேன்; மீறுதல் இல்லாதிருந்தும், அம்பினால் எனக்கு உண்டான காயம் ஆறாததாயிருக்கிறதென்றும் சொன்னாரே. Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

7 யோபைப்போலவே, பரியாசம்பண்ணுதலைத் தண்ணீரைப்போல் குடித்து, What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?

8 அக்கிரமக்காரரோடே கூடிக்கொண்டு, துன்மார்க்கரோடே திரிகிறவன் யார்? Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

9 எப்படியெனில், தேவன்மேல் பிரியம் வைக்கிறது மனுஷனுக்குப் பிரயோஜனம் அல்ல என்றாரே. For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

10 ஆகையால் புத்திமான்களே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; அக்கிரமம் தேவனுக்கும், அநீதி சர்வவல்லவருக்கும் தூரமாயிருக்கிறது. Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

11 மனுஷனுடைய செய்கைக்குத் தக்கதை அவனுக்குச் சரிக்கட்டி, அவனவன் நடக்கைக்குத்தக்கதாக அவனவனுக்குப் பலனளிக்கிறார். For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

12 தேவன் அநியாயஞ் செய்யாமலும், சர்வவல்லவர் நீதியைப் புரட்டாமலும் இருக்கிறது மெய்யே. Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

13 பூமியின்மேல் மனுஷனுக்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுத்தவர் யார்? பூச்சக்கரம் முழுதையும் ஒழுங்குப்படுத்தினவர் யார்? Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?

14 அவர் தம்முடைய இருதயத்தை அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் திருப்பினாராகில், அவனுடைய ஆவியையும் அவனுடைய சுவாசத்தையும் தம்மிடத்தில் இழுத்துக்கொள்ளுவார். If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

15 அப்படியே மாம்சமான யாவும் ஏகமாய் ஜீவித்துப்போம், மனுஷன் தூளுக்குத் திரும்புவான். All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

16 உமக்கு உணர்விருந்தால் இதைக்கேளும், என் வார்த்தைகளின் சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடும். If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

17 நீதியைப் பகைக்கிற ஒருவன் ஆளக்கூடுமோ? மகா நீதிபரரைக் குற்றப்படுத்துவீரோ? Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?

18 ஒரு ராஜாவைப் பார்த்து, நீ பொல்லாதவன் என்றும், அதிபதிகளைப் பார்த்து, நீங்கள் அக்கிரமக்காரரென்றும் சொல்லத்தகுமோ? Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

19 இப்படியிருக்க, பிரபுக்களின் முகத்தைப்பாராமலும், ஏழையைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஐசுவரியவானை அதிகமாய் எண்ணாமலும் இருக்கிறவரை நோக்கி இப்படிச் சொல்லலாமா? இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் அவர் கரங்களின் கிரியையே. How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

20 இப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் சடிதியில் சாவார்கள்; ஜனங்கள் பாதிஜாமத்தில் கலங்கி ஒழிந்துபோவார்கள்; காணாத கையினால் பலவந்தர் அழிந்துபோவார்கள். In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

21 அவருடைய கண்கள் மனுஷருடைய வழிகளை நோக்கியிருக்கிறது; அவர்களுடைய நடைகளையெல்லாம் அவர் பார்க்கிறார். For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

22 அக்கிரமக்காரர் ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளத்தக்க அந்தகாரமுமில்லை, மரண இருளுமில்லை. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

23 மனுஷன் தேவனோடே வழக்காடும்படி அவர் அவன்மேல் மிஞ்சினதொன்றையும் சுமத்தமாட்டார். For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

24 ஆராய்ந்து முடியாத நியாயமாய் அவர் வல்லமையுள்ளவர்களை நொறுக்கி, வேறே மனுஷரை அவர்கள் ஸ்தானத்திலே நிறுத்துகிறார். He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.

25 அவர்கள் கிரியைகளை அவர் அறிந்தவரானபடியால், அவர்கள் நசுங்கிப்போகத்தக்கதாய் இராக்காலத்தில் அவர்களைக் கவிழ்த்துபோடுகிறார். Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

26 அவர்கள் அவரை விட்டுப் பின்வாங்கி, அவருடைய எல்லா வழிகளையும் உணர்ந்துகொள்ளாமல் போனபடியினாலும், He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

27 எளியவர்களின் கூக்குரல் அவரிடத்தில் சேரும்படி செய்ததினாலும், சிறுமையானவனுடைய கூக்குரலைக்கேட்கிற அவர், Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

28 எல்லாரும் பார்க்கும்படி அவர்களைத் துன்மார்க்கரென்று அடிக்கிறார். So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

29 மாயக்காரன் ஆளாதபடிக்கும், ஜனங்கள் சிக்கிக்கொள்ளப்படாதபடிக்கும், When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

30 ஒரு ஜனத்துக்கானாலும் மனுஷனுக்கானாலும், அவர் சமாதானத்தை அருளினால் யார் கலங்கப்பண்ணுவான்? அவர் தமது முகத்தை மறைத்தால் அவரைக் காண்கிறவன் யார்? That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

31 நான் தண்டிக்கப்பட்டேன்; நான் இனிப் பாவஞ்செய்யமாட்டேன். Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

32 நான் காணாத காரியத்தை நீர் எனக்குப் போதியும், நான் அநியாயம் பண்ணினேனானால், நான் இனி அப்படிச் செய்வதில்லை என்று தேவனை நோக்கிச் சொல்லத்தகுமே. That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

33 நீர் அப்படிச் செய்யமாட்டோமென்கிறபடியினால் உம்மோடிருக்கிறவர்களில் ஒருவனை உமக்குப் பதிலாக அதைச் செய்யச் சொல்வீரோ? நானல்ல, நீரே தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும்; அல்லவென்றால், நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறதைச் சொல்லும். Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

34 யோபு அறிவில்லாமல் பேசினார்; அவர் வார்த்தைகள் ஞானமுள்ளவைகள் அல்லவென்று, Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

35 புத்தியுள்ள மனுஷர் என் பட்சமாய்ப் பேசுவார்கள்; ஞானமுள்ள மனுஷனும் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பான். Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

36 அக்கிரமக்காரர் சொன்ன மறுஉத்தரவுகளினிமித்தம் யோபு முற்றமுடிய சோதிக்கப்படவேண்டியதே என் அபேட்சை. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

37 தம்முடைய பாவத்தோடே மீறுதலைக் கூட்டினார்; அவர் எங்களுக்குளே கைகொட்டி, தேவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்த் தம்முடைய வார்த்தைகளை மிகுதியாக வசனித்தார் என்றான். For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

1 Pinnum elikoo maaraுththaramaaka: Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

2 Njaanikalae, en vaarththaikalaik kaelungal; arivaalikalae, enakkuch sevikodungal. Hear my words, O ye wise men; and give ear unto me, ye that have knowledge.

3 Vaayaanathu pojanaththai rusipaarkkirathupola, seviyaanathu vaarththaikalaich sothiththupΪாrkkum. For the ear trieth words, as the mouth tasteth meat.

4 NamakΕாka niyaayamaanaΤைth therinthukaφாlvomaaka; nanaύmai innathentu namakkullae arintha`Εொlvomaaka. Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

5 Yopu: naan neethimaan; Dhevan en niyaayaththaith thallivittarentum, For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.

6 Niyaayam ennidaththil irunthum naan poyyanentu ennnappadukiraேn; meeraுthal illaathirunthum, ampinaal enakku unndaana kaayam aaraathathaayirukkirathentum sonnaarae. Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

7 Yopaippolavae, pariyaasampannnuthalaith thannnneeraippol kutiththu, What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?

8 Akkiramakkaararotae kootikkonndu, thunmaarkkarotae thirikiravan yaar? Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.

9 Eppatiyenil, Dhevanmael piriyam vaikkirathu manushanukkup pirayojanam alla entarae. For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

10 Aakaiyaal puththimaankalae, enakkuch sevikodungal; akkiramam thaevanukkum, aneethi sarvavallavarukkum thooramaayirukkirathu. Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

11 Manushanutaiya seykaikkuth thakkathai avanukkuch sarikkatti, avanavan nadakkaikkuththakkathaaka avanavanukkup palanalikkiraar. For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

12 Dhevan aniyaayanj seyyaamalum, sarvavallavar neethiyaip purattamalum irukkirathu meyyae. Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

13 Poomiyinmael manushanukku athikaaram koduththavar yaar? Poochchakkaram muluthaiyum olunguppaduththinavar yaar? Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?

14 Avar thammutaiya iruthayaththai avanukku virothamaayth thiruppinaaraakil, avanutaiya aaviyaiyum avanutaiya suvaasaththaiyum thammidaththil iluththukkolluvaar. If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

15 Appatiyae maamsamaana yaavum aekamaay jeeviththuppom, manushan thoolukkuth thirumpuvaan. All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

16 Umakku unarvirunthaal ithaikkaelum, en vaarththaikalin saththaththukkuch sevikodum. If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

17 Neethiyaip pakaikkira oruvan aalakkoodumo? Makaa neethipararaik kuttappaduththuveero? Shall even he that hateth right govern? and wilt thou condemn him that is most just?

18 Oru raajaavaip paarththu, nee pollaathavan entum, athipathikalaip paarththu, neengal akkiramakkaararentum sollaththakumo? Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?

19 Ippatiyirukka, pirapukkalin mukaththaippaaraamalum, aelaiyaippaarkkilum aisuvariyavaanai athikamaay ennnnaamalum irukkiravarai Nnokki ippatich sollalaamaa? Ivarkal ellaarum avar karangalin kiriyaiyae. How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

20 Ippatippattavarkal satithiyil saavaarkal; janangal paathijaamaththil kalangi olinthupovaarkal; kaannaatha kaiyinaal palavanthar alinthupovaarkal. In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

21 Avarutaiya kannkal manusharutaiya valikalai Nnokkiyirukkirathu; avarkalutaiya nataikalaiyellaam avar paarkkiraar. For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

22 Akkiramakkaarar oliththukkollaththakka anthakaaramumillai, marana irulumillai. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

23 Manushan thaevanotae valakkaadumpati avar avanmael minjinathontaiyum sumaththamaattar. For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

24 Aaraaynthu mutiyaatha niyaayamaay avar vallamaiyullavarkalai noraுkki, vaeraே manusharai avarkal sthaanaththilae niraுththukiraar. He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their stead.

25 Avarkal kiriyaikalai avar arinthavaraanapatiyaal, avarkal nasungippokaththakkathaay iraakkaalaththil avarkalaik kavilththupodukiraar. Therefore he knoweth their works, and he overturneth them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

26 Avarkal avarai vittup pinvaangi, avarutaiya ellaa valikalaiyum unarnthukollaamal ponapatiyinaalum, He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

27 Eliyavarkalin kookkural avaridaththil serumpati seythathinaalum, siraுmaiyaanavanutaiya kookkuralaikkaetkira avar, Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

28 Ellaarum paarkkumpati avarkalaith thunmaarkkarentu atikkiraar. So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.

29 Maayakkaaran aalaathapatikkum, janangal sikkikkollappadaathapatikkum, When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

30 Oru janaththukkaanaalum manushanukkaanaalum, avar samaathaanaththai arulinaal yaar kalangappannnuvaan? Avar thamathu mukaththai maraiththaal avaraik kaannkiravan yaar? That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

31 Naan thanntikkappattaேn; naan inip paavanjaெyyamaattaேn. Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

32 Naan kaannaatha kaariyaththai neer enakkup pothiyum, naan aniyaayam pannnninaenaanaal, naan ini appatich seyvathillai entu thaevanai Nnokkich sollaththakumae. That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

33 Neer appatich seyyamaattaோmenkirapatiyinaal ummotirukkiravarkalil oruvanai umakkup pathilaaka athaich seyyach solveero? Naanalla, neerae therinthukollavaenndum; allavental, neer arinthirukkirathaich sollum. Should it be according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

34 Yopu arivillaamal paesinaar; avar vaarththaikal njaanamullavaikal allaventu, Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

35 Puththiyulla manushar en patchamaayp paesuvaarkal; njaanamulla manushanum enakkuch sevikoduppaan. Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

36 Akkiramakkaarar sonna maraுuththaravukalinimiththam yopu muttamutiya sothikkappadavaenntiyathae en apaetchaை. My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

37 Thammutaiya paavaththotae meeraுthalaik koottinaar; avar engalukkulae kaikotti, thaevanukku virothamaayth thammutaiya vaarththaikalai mikuthiyaaka vasaniththaar entan. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.
