Jeremiah 7 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தரால் எரேமியாவுக்கு உண்டான வசனம்: The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 நீ கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் வாசலிலே நின்று, அங்கே கூறிச் சொல்லவேண்டிய வசனம் என்னவென்றால், கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்துகொள்ள இந்த வாசல்களுக்குள்ளே பிரவேசிக்கிற யூத ஜனங்களாகிய நீங்களெல்லாரும் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள். Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

3 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்: உங்கள் வழிகளையும் உங்கள் கிரியைகளையும் சீர்ப்படுத்துங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்களை இந்த ஸ்தலத்திலே குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன். Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

4 கர்த்தரின் ஆலயம், கர்த்தரின் ஆலயம், கர்த்தரின் ஆலயம் இதுவே என்று சொல்லி, பொய்வார்த்தைகளை நம்பிக்கொள்ளாதிருங்கள். Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

5 நீங்கள் உங்கள் வழிகளையும் உங்கள் கிரியைகளையும் நன்றாய்ச் சீர்ப்படுத்தி, நீங்கள் மனுஷனுக்கும் மனுஷனுக்குமுள்ள வழக்கை நியாயமாய்த் தீர்த்து, For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

6 பரதேசியையும் திக்கற்றவனையும் விதவையையும் ஒடுக்காமலும், குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தை இந்த ஸ்தலத்திலே சிந்தாமலும்; உங்களுக்குக் கேடுண்டாக அந்நிய தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றாமலுமிருப்பீர்களேயாகில், If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

7 அப்பொழுது நான் உங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்குக் கொடுத்த தேசமாகிய இந்த ஸ்தலத்திலே உங்களைச் சதாகாலமும் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணுவேன். Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

8 இதோ, ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாத பொய்வார்த்தைகளை நீங்கள் நம்புகிறீர்கள். Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

9 நீங்கள் திருடி, கொலைசெய்து, விபசாரம்பண்ணி, பொய்யாணையிட்டு, பாகாலுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டி, நீங்கள் அறியாத அந்நிய தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றி, Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

10 பிற்பாடு வந்து, என் நாமம் தரிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த ஆலயத்திலே எனக்கு முன்பாக நின்று: இந்த அருவருப்புகளையெல்லாம் செய்வதற்காக விடுதலை பெற்றிருக்கிறோமென்று சொல்வீர்களோ? And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

11 என் நாமம் தரிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த ஆலயம் உங்கள் பார்வைக்குக் கள்ளர்குகையாயிற்றோ? இதோ, நானும் இதைக் கண்டேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

12 நான் முந்தி என் நாமம் விளங்கப்பண்ணின சீலோவிலுள்ள என் ஸ்தலத்துக்கு நீங்கள் போய், இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனத்தினுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் நான் அதற்குச் செய்ததைப் பாருங்கள். But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

16 நீ இந்த ஜனத்துக்காக விண்ணப்பம் செய்யவேண்டாம்; அவர்களுக்காக மன்றாடவும் கெஞ்சவும் வேண்டாம், என்னிடத்தில் அவர்களுக்காகப் பரிந்துபேசவும் வேண்டாம், நான் உனக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பதில்லை. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

17 யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும் எருசலேமின் வீதிகளிலும் அவர்கள் செய்கிறதை நீ காணவில்லையா? Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18 எனக்கு மனமடிவுண்டாக அந்நியதேவர்களுக்குப் பானபலிகளை வார்க்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் வானராக்கினிக்குப் பணியாரங்களைச் சுடும்படி பிள்ளைகள் விறகுபொறுக்குகிறார்கள், பிதாக்கள் நெருப்புமூட்டுகிறார்கள், ஸ்திரீகள் மாப்பிசைகிறார்கள். The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

19 அவர்கள் எனக்கா மனமடிவுண்டாக்குகிறார்கள்? தங்கள் முகங்கள் வெட்கத்துக்குட்படும்படி அவர்கள் தங்களுக்கே அல்லவோ மனமடிவுண்டாக்குகிறார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

20 ஆதலால் இதோ, என் கோபமும் என் உக்கிரமும் இந்த ஸ்தலத்தின்மேலும், மனுஷர்மேலும், மிருகங்கள்மேலும், வெளியின் மரங்கள்மேலும், பூமியின் கனிகள்மேலும் ஊற்றப்படும்; அது அவியாமல் எரியும் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

21 இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறதென்னவென்றால் உங்கள் தகனபலிகளை மற்றப் பலிகளோடுங்கூட்டி, இறைச்சியைச் சாப்பிடுங்கள். Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

22 நான் உங்கள் பிதாக்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவந்த நாளிலே, தகனபலியைக்குறித்தும், மற்றப் பலிகளைக்குறித்தும் நான் அவர்களோடே பேசினதையும் கட்டளையிட்டதையும்பார்க்கிலும், For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

24 அவர்களோ அதைக் கேளாமலும், தங்கள் செவியைச் சாயாமலும்போய், தங்கள் பொல்லாத இருதயத்தின் யோசனைகளின்படியும் கடினத்தின்படியும் நடந்து, முன்னிட்டல்ல பின்னிட்டே போனார்கள். But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

25 உங்கள் பிதாக்கள் எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட நாள்முதல் இந்நாள்மட்டும் நான் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளாகிய என் ஊழியக்காரரையெல்லாம் தினந்தினம் உங்களண்டைக்கு ஏற்கனவே அனுப்பிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

28 ஆகையால் தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருடைய சத்தத்தைக் கேளாமலும், புத்தியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமலும் இருகύகிற, ஜாதி இΤுதான் என்றும், ڠΤ்தியம் அழிந்தl அது அவர்கள் வாயிலிருந்து அற்றுப்போனதென்றும் அவர்களுக்குச் சொல். But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

29 நீ உன் தலைமயிரைச் சிரைத்து, எறிந்துவிட்டு, உயர்தலங்களிலே புலம்பிக்கொண்டிரு; கர்த்தர் தமது சினத்துக்கு ஏதுவான சந்ததியை வெறுத்து நெகிழவிட்டார். Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

30 யூதா புத்திரர் என் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; என் நாமம் தரித்திருக்கிற ஆலயத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தித் தங்கள் அருவருப்புகளை அதிலே வைத்தார்கள். For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

31 தங்கள் குமாரரையும் தங்கள் குமாரத்திகளையும் அக்கினியிலே தகனிக்கிறதற்காக, அவர்கள் இன்னோம் குமாரனின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலுள்ள தோப்பேத்தின் மேடைகளைக் கட்டினார்கள்; அதை நான் கட்டளையிடவுமில்லை, அது என் மனதில் தோன்றவுமில்லை. And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

33 இந்த ஜனத்தின் பிணங்கள் ஆகாயத்தின் பறவைகளுக்கும் பூமியின் மிருகங்களுக்கும் இரையாகும்; அவைகளை வெருட்டுவாரும் இல்லாதிருப்பார்கள். And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

34 நான் யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களிலும் எருசலேமின் வீதிகளிலும் களிப்பின் சத்தத்தையும், மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாளனின் சத்தத்தையும், மணவாட்டியின் சத்தத்தையும் ஓயப்பண்ணுவேன்; தேசம் பாழாகும். Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

1 Karththaraal eraemiyaavukku unndaana vasanam: The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 Nee karththarutaiya aalayaththin vaasalilae nintu, angae koorich sollavaenntiya vasanam ennavental, karththaraip panninthukolla intha vaasalkalukkullae piravaesikkira yootha janangalaakiya neengalellaarum karththarutaiya vaarththaiyaik kaelungal. Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

3 Isravaelin thaevanaakiya senaikalin Karththar sollukiraar: ungal valikalaiyum ungal kiriyaikalaiyum seerppaduththungal, appoluthu ungalai intha sthalaththilae kutiyirukkappannnuvaen. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

4 Karththarin aalayam, karththarin aalayam, karththarin aalayam ithuvae entu solli, poyvaarththaikalai nampikkollaathirungal. Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

5 Neengal ungal valikalaiyum ungal kiriyaikalaiyum nantaych seerppaduththi, neengal manushanukkum manushanukkumulla valakkai niyaayamaayth theerththu, For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

6 Parathaesiyaiyum thikkattavanaiyum vithavaiyaiyum odukkaamalum, kuttamillaatha iraththaththai intha sthalaththilae sinthaamalum; ungalukkuk kaedunndaaka anniya thaevarkalaip pinpattaாmalumiruppeerkalaeyaakil, If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

7 Appoluthu naan ungal pithaakkalukkuk koduththa thaesamaakiya intha sthalaththilae ungalaich sathaakaalamum kutiyirukkappannnuvaen. Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

8 Itho, ontukkum uthavaatha poyvaarththaikalai neengal nampukireerkal. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

9 Neengal thiruti, kolaiseythu, vipasaarampannnni, poyyaannaiyittu, paakaalukkuth thoopangaatti, neengal ariyaatha anniya thaevarkalaip pinpatti, Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

10 Pirpaadu vanthu, en naamam tharikkappatta intha aalayaththilae enakku munpaaka nintu: intha aruvaruppukalaiyellaam seyvatharkaaka viduthalai pettirukkiromentu solveerkalo? And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

11 En naamam tharikkappatta intha aalayam ungal paarvaikkuk kallarkukaiyaayittaோ? Itho, naanum ithaik kanntaen entu Karththar sollukiraar. Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

12 Naan munthi en naamam vilangappannnnina seelovilulla en sthalaththukku neengal poy, Israel janaththinutaiya pollaappinimiththam naan atharkuch seythathaip paarungal. But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

13 Neengal inthak kiriyaikalaiyellaam seytheerkal, naan ungalukku aerkanavae sollivanthirunthum, neengal kaelaamalum, naan ungalaik kooppittum, neengal uththaravukodaamalum ponapatiyinaal, And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

14 En naamam tharikkappattathum, neengal nampikkai konntirukkirathumaana intha aalayaththukkum ungalukkum ungal pithaakkalukkum naan koduththa sthalaththukkum, naan seelovukkuch seythathupolach seyvaen. Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

15 Naan ungalutaiya ellaach sakothararumaakiya eppiraayeem santhathi anaiththaiyum thallippottathupola, ungalaiyum en mukaththaivittuth thallippoduvaen entu Karththar sollukiraar. And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

16 Nee intha janaththukkaaka vinnnappam seyyavaenndaam; avarkalukkaaka mantadavum kenjavum vaenndaam, ennidaththil avarkalukkaakap parinthupaesavum vaenndaam, naan unakkuch sevikoduppathillai. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

17 Yoothaavin pattanangalilum erusalaemin veethikalilum avarkal seykirathai nee kaanavillaiyaa? Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18 Enakku manamativunndaaka anniyathaevarkalukkup paanapalikalai vaarkkiraarkal; avarkal vaanaraakkinikkup panniyaarangalaich sudumpati pillaikal virakuporaுkkukiraarkal, pithaakkal neruppumoottukiraarkal, sthireekal maappisaikiraarkal. 19 Avarkal enakkaa manamativunndaakkukiraarkal? Thangal mukangal vetkaththukkutpadumpati avarkal thangalukkae allavo manamativunndaakkukiraarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

20 Aathalaal itho, en kopamum en ukkiramum intha sthalaththinmaelum, manusharmaelum, mirukangalmaelum, veliyin marangalmaelum, poomiyin kanikalmaelum oottappadum; athu aviyaamal eriyum entu karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

21 Isravaelin thaevanaakiya senaikalin Karththar sollukirathennavental ungal thakanapalikalai mattap palikalodungaூtti, iraichchiyaich saappidungal. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

22 Naan ungal pithaakkalai ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu alaiththuvantha naalilae, thakanapaliyaikkuriththum, mattap palikalaikkuriththum naan avarkalotae paesinathaiyum kattalaiyittathaiyumpaarkkilum, For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

23 En vaakkukkuch sevikodungal, appoluthu naan ungal thaevanaayiruppaen, neengal en janamaayiruppeerkal; naan ungalukkuk karpikkum ellaa valiyilum, neengal ungalukku nanmai unndaakumpatikku nadavungal enkira viseshaththaiyae avarkalukkuch sollik kattalaiyittaேn. But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

24 Avarkalo athaik kaelaamalum, thangal seviyaich saayaamalumpoy, thangal pollaatha iruthayaththin yosanaikalinpatiyum katinaththinpatiyum nadanthu, munnittalla pinnittaே ponaarkal. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

25 Ungal pithaakkal ekipthuthaesaththilirunthu purappatta naalmuthal innaalmattum naan theerkkatharisikalaakiya en ooliyakkaararaiyellaam thinanthinam ungalanntaikku aerkanavae anuppikkonntirunthaen. Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

26 Aanaalum avarkal en sollaik kaelaamalum, thangal seviyaich saayaamalum poy, thangal kaluththaik katinappaduththi, thangal pithaakkalaippaarkkilum athika pollaappu seythaarkal. Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

27 Nee intha vaarththaikalaiyellaam avarkalukkuch sonnaalum, avarkal unakkuch sevikodukkamaattarkal; nee avarkalai Nnokkik kooppittalum, avarkal unakku maraுuththaravu kodukkamaattarkal. Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

28 Aakaiyaal thangal thaevanaakiya karththarutaiya saththaththaik kaelaamalum, puththiyai aettaுkkollamalum irukaύkira, jaathi iΤுthaan entum, ڠΤ்thiyam alinthal athu avarkal vaayilirunthu attaுpponathentum avarkalukkuch sol. Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

31 Thangal kumaararaiyum thangal kumaaraththikalaiyum akkiniyilae thakanikkiratharkaaka, avarkal innom kumaaranin pallaththaakkilulla thoppaeththin maetaikalaik kattinaarkal; athai naan kattalaiyidavumillai, athu en manathil thontavumillai. And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

32 Aathalaal, itho, naatkal varumentu Karththar sollukiraar; appoluthu athu appuram thoppaeth entum, innom kumaaranin pallaththaakkentum sollappadaamal, sangaarappallaththaakkentu sollappadum; thoppaeththilae idangitaiyaamarpokumattum savangalai adakkampannnuvaarkal. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

33 Intha janaththin pinangal aakaayaththin paravaikalukkum poomiyin mirukangalukkum iraiyaakum; avaikalai veruttuvaarum illaathiruppaarkal. And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

34 Naan yoothaavin pattanangalilum erusalaemin veethikalilum kalippin saththaththaiyum, makilchchiyin saththaththaiyum, manavaalanin saththaththaiyum, manavaattiyin saththaththaiyum oyappannnuvaen; thaesam paalaakum. Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
