உன் பிராணனை வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் நீ பயப்படுகிறவர்களின் கையிலும் உன்னை ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரின் கையிலும் கல்தேயரின் கையிலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்;

ராஜா அந்த பெண்ணைக் கேட்டதற்கு, அவள்: அதை அவனுக்கு விவரமாகச் சொன்னாள்; அப்பொழுது ராஜா அவளுக்காக ஒரு அதிகாரியை நியமித்து, அவளுக்குரிய எல்லாவற்றையும், அவள் தேசத்தைவிட்டுப் போன நாள்முதல் இதுவரைக்கும் உண்டான அந்த வயலின் வருமானம் அனைத்தையும் அவளுக்குக் கிடைக்கச் செய் என்றான்.

அரசன் அவளது விருப்பத்தை விசாரிக்க அவளும் விளக்கிச் சொன்னாள். பிறகு அரசன் ஒரு அதிகாரியை அவளுக்கு உதவுமாறு நியமித்தான். அவனிடம், “இவளுக்குரியவற்றையெல்லாம் இவள் பெறுமாறு செய். இவள் இந்த நாட்டைவிட்டு போன நாள் முதல் இன்றுவரை இவள் நிலத்தில் விளைந்த தானியத்தையும் இவள் பெறுமாறு செய்” என்றான்.
