shall hiss	יְהוָה֙	yĕhwāh	yeh-VA
for the fly	לַזְּב֔וּב	lazzĕbûb	la-zeh-VOOV

அவர் தூரத்திலுள்ள ஜாதியாருக்கு ஒரு கொடியை ஏற்றி, அவர்களைப் பூமியின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலிருந்து பயில்காட்டி அழைப்பார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தீவிரமும் வேகமுமாய் வருவார்கள்.

என் ஜனங்களைப் போகவிடாயாகில், நான் உன் மேலும், உன் ஊழியக்காரர் மேலும், உன் ஜனங்கள்மேலும், உன் வீடுகள் மேலும் பலவித வண்டுகளை அனுப்புவேன்; எகிப்தியர் வீடுகளும் அவர்கள் இருக்கிற தேசமும் அந்த வண்டுகளால் நிறையும்.

அந்த மலையிலே குடியிருந்த எமோரியர் உங்களை எதிர்க்கும்படி புறப்பட்டுவந்து, தேனீக்கள் துரத்துகிறதுபோல உங்களைத் துரத்தி, உங்களைச் சேயீர் தொடங்கி ஓர்மாமட்டும் முறிய அடித்தார்கள்.

மீதியாயிருந்து உனக்குத் தப்பி ஒளித்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும் அழிந்துபோகுமட்டும் உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்குள்ளே குளவிகளை அனுப்புவார்.

மோரியரின் இரண்டு ராஜாக்களையும் உங்கள் பட்டயத்தாலும் உங்கள் வில்லாலும் நீங்கள் துரத்தவில்லை; நான் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகக் குளவிகளை அனுப்பினேன்; அவைகள் அவர்களை உங்கள் முன்னின்று துரத்திவிட்டது.

எப்பிராயீம் Judeவைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்த நாள்முதல் வராத நாட்களைக் கர்த்தர் உன்மேலும், உன் ஜனத்தின்மேலும், உன் பிதாவுடைய வம்சத்தின்மேலும், அசீரியாவின் ராஜாவினாலே வரப்பண்ணுவார்.

கர்த்தர் வருகிறார்; அவருடைய கோபத்தின் ஆயுதங்களும், தேசத்தையெல்லாம் அழிக்க, வானங்கவிழ்ந்த கடையாந்தர தேசத்திலிருந்து வருகிறது.

பாவத்தோடே பாவத்தைக் கூட்டும்படி, என்னை அல்லாமல் ஆலோசனைபண்ணி, என் ஆவியை அல்லாமல் தங்களை மூடிக்கொள்ளப் பார்க்கிறவர்களும்,

சகாயமடையும்படி இஸ்ரவேலுடைய பரிசுத்தரை நோக்காமலும், கர்த்தரைத் தேடாமலும், எகிப்துக்குப்போய், குதிரைகள்மேல் நம்பிக்கைவைத்து, இரதங்கள் அநேமாயிருப்பதினால் அவைகளை நாடி, குதிரைவீரர் மகா பெலசாலிகளாயிருப்பதினால் அவர்களை நம்பிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஐயோ!
