கர்த்தருடைய வசனத்துக்கு நடுங்குகிறவர்களே, அவருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; என் நாமத்தினிமித்தம் உங்களைப் பகைத்து, உங்களை அப்புறப்படுத்துகிற உங்கள் சகோதரர், கர்த்தர் மகிமைப்படுவாராக என்கிறார்களே. அவர் உங்களுக்குச் சந்தோஷம் உண்டாகும்படி காணப்படுவார்; அவர்களோ வெட்கப்படுவார்கள்.

கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளைகளுக்கு அடிபணிகிற ஜனங்களாகிய நீங்கள் கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறவற்றையும் கேட்கவேண்டும். “உங்களை உங்கள் சகோதரர் வெறுத்தார்கள். அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு எதிராக மாறினார்கள். ஏனென்றால், என்னை நீங்கள் பின்பற்றுகிறீர்கள். உங்கள் சகோதரர்கள் கூறினார்கள், ‘கர்த்தர் மகிமைப்படுத்தப்படும்போது, நாங்கள் உம்மிடம் திரும்பிவருவோம். பிறகு, நாங்கள் உங்களோடு மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருப்போம்’ அத்தீய ஜனங்கள் தண்டிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.”
