உயர்ந்த மேடுகளில் ஆறுகளையும், பள்ளத்தாக்குகளின் நடுவே ஊற்றுகளையும் திறந்து, வனாந்தரத்தைத் தண்ணீர்த் தடாகமும், வறண்டபூமியை நீர்க்கேணிகளுமாக்கி

பின்பு இயேசு அந்தத் தலைவனைப் பார்த்து: நீ போகலாம், நீ விசுவாசித்தபடியே உனக்கு ஆகக்கடவது என்றார். அதே மணிநேரத்திலே அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரன் சுகமானான்.

பிறகு இயேசு அதிகாரியிடம், “வீட்டிற்குச் செல். நீ எவ்வாறு விசுவாசித்தாயோ அவ்வாறே உன் வேலைக்காரன் குணமாவான்” என்று சொன்னார். அந்த நேரத்திலேயே அந்த அதிகாரியின் வேலைக்காரன் குணமாக்கப்பட்டான்.
