என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உமது அடியேன் இன்று உமது சந்நிதியில் செய்கிற விண்ணப்பத்தையும் மன்றாட்டையும் கேட்டு, உமது அடியேனுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தையும் வேண்டுதலையும் திருவுளத்தில் கொண்டருளும்.

உம்முடைய ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் அனைவரிலும் எந்த மனுஷனானாலும் தன் இருதயத்தின் வாதையை உணர்ந்து, இந்த ஆலயத்துக்கு நேராகத் தன் கைகளை விரித்துச் செய்யும் சகல விண்ணப்பத்தையும், சகல வேண்டுதலையும்,

உமது அடியேன் இவ்விடத்திலேசெய்யும் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்க, என் நாமம் விளங்குமென்று நீர் சொன்ன ஸ்தலமாகிய இந்த ஆலயத்தின்மேல் உம்முடைய கண்கள் இரவும்பகலும் திறந்திருப்பதாக.

தீங்குநாளில் அவர் என்னைத் தம்முடைய கூடாரத்தில் மறைத்து, என்னைத் தமது கூடார மறைவிலே ஒளித்துவைத்து, என்னைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் உயர்த்துவார்.

தேவனையே நோக்கி என் ஆத்துமா அமர்ந்திருக்கிறது; அவரால் என் இரட்சிப்பு வரும்.

தேவனே, எதுவரைக்கும் சத்துரு நிந்திப்பான்? பகைவன் உமது நாமத்தை எப்பொழுதும் தூஷிப்பானோ?

Judeவில் தேவன் அறியப்பட்டவர்; இஸ்ரவேலில் அவருடைய நாமம் பெரியது.

பரலோகத்தில் வாசமாயிருக்கிறவரே, உம்மிடத்திற்கு என் கண்களை ஏறெடுக்கிறேன்.

கர்த்தரின் பணிவிடைக்காராகிய ஆசாரியர்கள் மண்டபத்துக்கும் பலிபீடத்துக்கும் நடுவே அழுது: கர்த்தாவே, நீர் உமது ஜனத்தைத் தப்பவிட்டுப் புறஜாதிகள் அவர்களைப் பழிக்கும் நிந்தைக்கு உமது சுதந்தரத்தை ஒப்புக்கொடாதிரும்; உங்கள் தேவன் எங்கே என்று புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சொல்லப்படுவானேன் என்பார்களாக.
