और तेरह अपना पुत्र अब्राम, और अपना पोता लूत जो हारान का पुत्र था, और अपनी बहू सारै, जो उसके पुत्र अब्राम की पत्नी थी इन सभों को ले कर कस्दियों के ऊर नगर से निकल कनान देश जाने को चला; पर हारान नाम देश में पहुंचकर वहीं रहने लगा।
