Revelation 2
1 इफिसुस की कलीसिया के दूत को यह लिख, कि, जो सातों तारे अपने दाहिने हाथ में लिए हुए है, और सोने की सातों दीवटों के बीच में फिरता है, वह यह कहता है कि
2 मै तेरे काम, और परिश्रम, और तेरा धीरज जानता हूं; और यह भी, कि तू बुरे लोगों को तो देख नहीं सकता; और जो अपने आप को प्रेरित कहते हैं, और हैं नहीं, उन्हें तू ने परख कर झूठा पाया।
3 और तू धीरज धरता है, और मेरे नाम के लिये दु:ख उठाते उठाते थका नहीं।
4 पर मुझे तेरे विरूद्ध यह कहना है कि तू ने अपना पहिला सा प्रेम छोड़ दिया है।
5 सो चेत कर, कि तू कहां से गिरा है, और मन फिरा और पहिले के समान काम कर; और यदि तू मन न फिराएगा, तो मै तेरे पास आकर तेरी दीवट को उस स्थान से हटा दूंगा।
6 पर हां तुझ में यह बात तो है, कि तू नीकुलइयों के कामों से घृणा करता है, जिन से मैं भी घृणा करता हूं।
7 जिस के कान हों, वह सुन ले कि आत्मा कलीसियाओं से क्या कहता है: जो जय पाए, मैं उसे उस जीवन के पेड़ में से जो परमेश्वर के स्वर्गलोक में है, फल खाने को दूंगा॥
8 और स्मुरना की कलीसिया के दूत को यह लिख, कि, जो प्रथम और अन्तिम है; जो मर गया था और अब जीवित हो गया है, वह यह कहता है कि।
9 मैं तेरे क्लेश और दरिद्रता को जानता हूं; (परन्तु तू धनी है); और जो लोग अपने आप को यहूदी कहते हैं और हैं नहीं, पर शैतान की सभा हैं, उन की निन्दा को भी जानता हूं।
10 जो दु:ख तुझ को झेलने होंगे, उन से मत डर: क्योंकि देखो, शैतान तुम में से कितनों को जेलखाने में डालने पर है ताकि तुम परखे जाओ; और तुम्हें दस दिन तक क्लेश उठाना होगा: प्राण देने तक विश्वासी रह; तो मैं तुझे जीवन का मुकुट दूंगा।
11 जिस के कान हों, वह सुन ले कि आत्मा कलीसियाओं से क्या कहता है: जो जय पाए, उस को दूसरी मृत्यु से हानि न पहुंचेगी॥
12 और पिरगमुन की कलीसिया के दूत को यह लिख, कि, जिस के पास दोधारी और चोखी तलवार है, वह यह कहता है, कि।
13 मैं यह तो जानता हूं, कि तू वहां रहता है जहां शैतान का सिंहासन है, और मेरे नाम पर स्थिर रहता है; और मुझ पर विश्वास करने से उन दिनों में भी पीछे नहीं हटा जिन में मेरा विश्वासयोग्य साक्षी अन्तिपास, तुम में उस स्थान पर घात किया गया जहां शैतान रहता है।
14 पर मुझे तेरे विरूद्ध कुछ बातें कहनी हैं, क्योंकि तेरे यहां कितने तो ऐसे हैं, जो बिलाम की शिक्षा को मानते हैं, जिस ने बालाक को इस्त्राएलियों के आगे ठोकर का कारण रखना सिखाया, कि वे मूरतों के बलिदान खाएं, और व्यभिचार करें।
15 वैसे ही तेरे यहां कितने तो ऐसे हैं, जो नीकुलइयों की शिक्षा को मानते हैं।
16 सो मन फिरा, नहीं तो मैं तेरे पास शीघ्र ही आकर, अपने मुख की तलवार से उन के साथ लडूंगा।
17 जिस के कान हों, वह सुन ले कि आत्मा कलीसियाओं से क्या कहता है; जो जय पाए, उस को मैं गुप्त मन्ना में से दूंगा, और उसे एक श्वेत पत्थर भी दूंगा; और उस पत्थर पर एक नाम लिखा हुआ होगा, जिसे उसके पाने वाले के सिवाय और कोई न जानेगा॥
18 और थूआतीरा की कलीसिया के दूत को यह लिख, कि, परमेश्वर का पुत्र जिस की आंखे आग की ज्वाला की नाईं, और जिस के पांव उत्तम पीतल के समान हैं, यह कहता है, कि
19 मैं तेरे कामों, और प्रेम, और विश्वास, और सेवा, और धीरज को जानता हूं, और यह भी कि तेरे पिछले काम पहिलों से बढ़ कर हैं।
20 पर मुझे तेरे विरूद्ध यह कहना है, कि तू उस स्त्री इजेबेल को रहने देता है जो अपने आप को भविष्यद्वक्तिन कहती है, और मेरे दासों को व्यभिचार करने, और मूरतों के आगे के बलिदान खाने को सिखला कर भरमाती है।
21 मैं ने उस को मन फिराने के लिये अवसर दिया, पर वह अपने व्यभिचार से मन फिराना नहीं चाहती।
22 देख, मैं उसे खाट पर डालता हूं; और जो उसके साथ व्यभिचार करते हैं यदि वे भी उसके से कामों से मन न फिराएंगे तो उन्हें बड़े क्लेश में डांलूगा।
23 और मैं उसके बच्चों को मार डालूंगा; और तब सब कलीसियाएं जान लेंगी कि हृदय और मन का परखने वाला मैं ही हूं: और मैं तुम में से हर एक को उसके कामों के अनुसार बदला दूंगा।
24 पर तुम थूआतीरा के बाकी लोगों से, जितने इस शिक्षा को नहीं मानते, और उन बातों को जिन्हें शैतान की गहिरी बातें कहते हैं नहीं जानते, यह कहता हूं, कि मैं तुम पर और बोझ न डालूंगा।
25 पर हां, जो तुम्हारे पास है उस को मेरे आने तक थामें रहो।
26 जो जय पाए, और मेरे कामों के अनुसार अन्त तक करता रहे, मैं उसे जाति जाति के लोगों पर अधिकार दूंगा।
27 और वह लोहे का राजदण्ड लिये हुए उन पर राज्य करेगा, जिस प्रकार कुम्हार के मिट्टी के बरतन चकनाचूर हो जाते है: जैसे कि मै ने भी ऐसा ही अधिकार अपने पिता से पाया है।
28 और मैं उसे भोर का तारा दूंगा।
29 जिस के कान हों, वह सुन ले कि आत्मा कलीसियाओं से क्या कहता है॥
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Matthew 16 in Tamil and English
1 ফরীশী ও সদ্দূকীরা যীশুরকাছেএসেতাঁকে পরীক্ষা করতে চাইলেন৷ তাই তারা ঐশ্বরিক শক্তির চিহ্নস্বরূপ কোন অলৌকিক কাজ করে দেখাতে বললেন৷
The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.
2 এর উত্তরে যীশু তাদের বললেন, ‘সন্ধ্যা হলে তোমরা বলে থাকো দিনে আবহাওয়া ভাল থাকবে, কারণ আকাশের রঙ লাল হয়েছে৷
He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.
3 আবার সকাল বেলা বলে থাকো, আজকে ঝোড়ো আবহাওয়া চলবে কারণ আজ আকাশ লাল ও অন্ধকার হয়েছে৷ তোমরা আকাশের অবস্থা ভালই বিচার করে বোঝ, অথচ কালের চিহ্ন বুঝতে পারো না৷
And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
4 এ যুগের দুষ্ট ও ভ্রষ্টাচারী লোকেরা চিহ্নের খোঁজ করে, কিন্তু য়োনার চিহ্ন ছাড়া আর কোন চিহ্নই তাদের দেখানো হবে না৷’ এরপর যীশু তাদের ছেড়ে সেখান থেকে চলে গেলেন৷
A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
5 যীশু ও তাঁর শিষ্যরা হ্রদের ওপারে যাবার সময় সঙ্গে রুটি নিয়ে য়েতে ভুলে গিয়েছিলেন৷
And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
6 তখন যীশু তাদের বললেন, ‘তোমরা সাবধান! ফরীশী ও সদ্দূকীদের খামির থেকে সতর্ক থেকো৷’
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
7 শিষ্যরা নিজেদেরমধ্যে বলাবলি করতেলাগলেন, ‘আমরা রুটিআনিনি বলে সন্ভবতঃ উনি এইকথা বলছেন?’
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
8 তাঁরা কি বলাবলি করছেন, তা জানতে পেরে যীশু বললেন, ‘হে অল্প-বিশ্বাসী মানুষ, তোমরা নিজেদের মধ্যে কেন বলাবলি করছ য়ে তোমাদের রুটি নেই?
Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
9 তোমরা কি বোঝ না অথবা তোমাদের কি মনে নেই সেই পাঁচ হাজার লোকের জন্য পাঁচ খানা রুটির কথা আর তারপরে কত টুকরি তোমরা ভর্তি করেছিলে?
Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
10 আবার সেইচার হাজার লোকের জন্য সাতখানা রুটির কথা, আর কত টুকরি তোমরা তুলে নিয়েছিলে?
Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
11 তোমরা কেন বুঝতে পার না য়ে আমি তোমাদের রুটির বিষয় বলিনি? আমি তোমাদের ফরীশী ও সদ্দূকীদের খামির থেকে সতর্ক থাকতে বলেছি৷’
How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12 তখন তাঁরা বুঝতে পারলেন য়ে রুটির খামির থেকে তিনি তাঁদের সতর্ক হতে বলেন নি, কিন্তু বলেছিলেন তাঁরা য়েন ফরীশী ও সদ্দূকীদের শিক্ষা থেকে সাবধান হন৷
Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
13 এরপর যীশু কৈসরিয়া, ফিলিপী অঞ্চলে এলেন৷ তিনি তাঁর শিষ্যদের জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, ‘মানবপুত্রকে?’ এবিষয়ে লোকে কি বলে?
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
14 তাঁরা বললেন, ‘কেউ কেউ বলে আপনি বাপ্তিস্মদাতা য়োহন, কেউ বলে এলীয়,আবার কেউ বলে আপনি যিরমিয়বা ভাববাদীদের মধ্যে কেউ একজন হবেন৷’
And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 তিনি তাঁদের বললেন, ‘কিন্তু তোমরা কি বল, আমি কে?’
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 এর উত্তরে শিমোন পিতর বললেন, ‘আপনি সেইমশীহ (খ্রীষ্ট), জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরের পুত্র৷’
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 এর উত্তরে যীশু তাঁকে বললেন, ‘য়োনার ছেলে শিমোন, তুমি ধন্য, কোনো মানুষের কাছ থেকে একথা তুমি জাননি, কিন্তু আমার স্বর্গের পিতা একথা তোমায় জানিয়েছেন৷
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 আর আমিও তোমাকে বলছি, তুমি পিতরআর এইপাথরের ওপরেই আমি আমার মণ্ডলী গেঁথে তুলব৷ মৃত্যুর কোন শক্তিতার ওপর জয়লাভ করতে পারবে না৷
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 আমি তোমাকে স্বর্গরাজ্যের চাবিগুলি দেব, তাতে তুমি এইপৃথিবীতে যা বাঁধবে তা স্বর্গেও বেঁধে রাখা হবে৷ আর পৃথিবীতে যা হতে দেবে তা স্বর্গেও হতে দেওযা হবে৷’
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
20 এরপর যীশু তাঁর শিষ্যদের দৃঢ়ভাবে নিষেধ করে দিলেন, য়েন তারা কাউকে না বলে তিনিইখ্রীষ্ট৷
Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.
21 সেই সময় থেকে যীশু তাঁর শিষ্যদের জানাতে লাগলেন য়ে তাঁকে অবশ্যইজেরুশালেমে য়েতে হবে৷ আর সেখানে কিভাবে তাঁকে ইহুদী নেতা, প্রধান যাজক ও ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষকদের কাছ থেকে অনেক কষ্ট ভোগ করতে হবে৷ তাঁকে মেরে ফেলা হবে ও তিন দিনের মাথায় তিনি মৃত্যুলোক থেকে বেঁচে উঠবেন৷
From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
22 তখন পিতর তাঁকে একপাশে ডেকে নিয়ে ভর্ত্সনার সুরে বললেন, ‘প্রভু, এসবের হাত থেকে ঈশ্বর আপনাকে রক্ষা করুন৷ এর কোন কিছুই আপনার প্রতি ঘটবে না৷’
Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23 যীশু পিতরের দিকে ফিরে বললেন, ‘আমার কাছ থেকে দূর হও শয়তান! তুমি আমার বাধা স্বরূপ! তুমি মানুষের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গী দিয়ে এ বিষয় চিন্তা করছ, ঈশ্বরের যা তা তুমি ভাবছ না৷’
But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
24 এরপর যীশু তাঁর শিষ্যদের বললেন ‘কেউ যদি আমায় অনুসরণ করতে চায় তবে সে নিজেকে অস্বীকার করুক আর নিজের ক্রুশ তুলে নিয়ে আমার অনুসারী হোক৷
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 য়ে কেউ নিজের জীবন রক্ষা করতে চায়, সে তা হারাবে৷ কিন্তু য়ে আমার জন্য তার নিজের প্রাণ হারাতে চাইবে সে তা রক্ষা করবে৷
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 কেউ যদি সমস্ত জগত্ লাভ করে তার প্রাণ হারায় তবে তার কি লাভ? প্রাণ ফিরে পাবার জন্য তার দেবার মতো কি-ইবা থাকতে পারে?
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 মানবপুত্র যখন তাঁর স্বর্গদূতদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে তাঁর পিতার মহিমায় আসবেন, তখন তিনি প্রত্যেক লোককে তার কাজ অনুসারে প্রতিদান দেবেন৷
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
28 আমি তোমাদের সত্যি বলছি, যাঁরা এখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে তাদের মধ্যে এমন কেউ কেউ আছে যার কোনও মতে মৃত্যু দেখবে না, য়ে পর্যন্ত মানবপুত্রকে তাঁর রাজ্যে আসতে না দেখে৷’
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
