Psalm 28
1 हे यहोवा, मैं तुझी को पुकारूंगा; हे मेरी चट्टान, मेरी सुनी अनसुनी न कर, ऐसा न हो कि तेरे चुप रहने से मैं कब्र में पड़े हुओं के समान हो जाऊं जो पाताल में चले जाते हैं।
2 जब मैं तेरी दोहाई दूं, और तेरे पवित्र स्थान की भीतरी कोठरी की ओर अपने हाथ उठाऊं, तब मेरी गिड़गिड़ाहट की बात सुन ले।
3 उन दुष्टों और अनर्थकारियों के संग मुझे न घसीट; जो अपने पड़ोसियों बातें तो मेल की बोलते हैं परन्तु हृदय में बुराई रखते हैं।
4 उनके कामों के और उनकी करनी की बुराई के अनुसार उन से बर्ताव कर, उनके हाथों के काम के अनुसार उन्हें बदला दे; उनके कामों का पलटा उन्हें दे।
5 वे यहोवा के कामों पर और उसके हाथों के कामों पर ध्यान नहीं करते, इसलिये वह उन्हें पछाड़ेगा और फिर न उठाएगा॥
6 यहोवा धन्य है; क्योंकि उसने मेरी गिड़गिड़ाहट को सुना है।
7 यहोवा मेरा बल और मेरी ढ़ाल है; उस पर भरोसा रखने से मेरे मन को सहायता मिली है; इसलिये मेरा हृदय प्रफुल्लित है; और मैं गीत गाकर उसका धन्यवाद करूंगा।
8 यहोवा उनका बल है, वह अपने अभिषिक्त के लिये उद्धार का दृढ़ गढ़ है।
9 हे यहोवा अपनी प्रजा का उद्धार कर, और अपने निज भाग के लोगों को आशीष दे; और उनकी चरवाही कर और सदैव उन्हें सम्भाले रह॥
1 A Psalm of David.
2 Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
3 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
4 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
5 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
6 Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
7 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
8 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
9 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
10 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

7 எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் முடிவு சமீபமாயிற்று; ஆகையால் தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருந்து, ஜெபம்பண்ணுவதற்கு ஜாக்கிரதையுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள்.
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
8 எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் மேலாக ஒருவரிலொருவர் ஊக்கமான அன்புள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள்; அன்பு திரளான பாவங்களை மூடும்.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
9 முறுமுறுப்பில்லாமல் ஒருவரையொருவர் உபசரியுங்கள்.
Use hospitality one to another without grudging.
10 அவனவன் பெற்ற வரத்தின்படியே நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய பற்பல கிருபையுள்ள ஈவுகளைப் பகிர்ந்துகொடுக்கும் நல்ல உக்கிராணக்காரர்போல, ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உதவிசெய்யுங்கள்.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 ஒருவன் போதித்தால் தேவனுடைய வாக்கியங்களின்படி போதிக்கக்கடவன்; ஒருவன் உதவிசெய்தால் தேவன் தந்தருளும் பெலத்தின்படி செய்யக்கடவன்; எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துமூலமாய் தேவன் மகிமைப்படும்படியே செய்வீர்களாக; அவருக்கே மகிமையும் வல்லமையும் சதாகாலங்களிலும் உண்டாயிருப்பதாக. ஆமென்.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
