Proverbs 16 - YLT (Hindi)

1 Of man `are' arrangements of the heart, And from Jehovah an answer of the tongue.मन की युक्ति मनुष्य के वश में रहती है, परन्तु मुंह से कहना यहोवा की ओर से होता है।

2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, And Jehovah is pondering the spirits.मनुष्य का सारा चाल चलन अपनी दृष्टि में पवित्र ठहरता है, परन्तु यहोवा मन को तौलता है।

3 Roll unto Jehovah thy works, And established are thy purposes,अपने कामों को यहोवा पर डाल दे, इस से तेरी कल्पनाएं सिद्ध होंगी।

4 All things hath Jehovah wrought for Himself, And also the wicked `worketh' for a day of evil.यहोवा ने सब वस्तुएं विशेष उद्देश्य के लिये बनाईं हैं, वरन दुष्ट को भी विपत्ति भोगने के लिये बनाया है।

5 An abomination to Jehovah `is' every proud one of heart, Hand to hand he is not acquitted.सब मन के घमण्डियों से यहोवा घृणा करता है करता है; मैं दृढ़ता से कहता हूं, ऐसे लोग निर्दोष न ठहरेंगे।

6 In kindness and truth pardoned is iniquity, And in the fear of Jehovah Turn thou aside from evil.अधर्म का प्रायश्चित कृपा, और सच्चाई से होता है, और यहोवा के भय मानने के द्वारा मनुष्य बुराई करने से बच जाते हैं।

7 When a man's ways please Jehovah, even his enemies, He causeth to be at peace with him.जब किसी का चाल चलन यहोवा को भावता है, तब वह उसके शत्रुओं का भी उस से मेल कराता है।

8 Better `is' a little with righteousness, Than abundance of increase without justice.अन्याय के बड़े लाभ से, न्याय से थोड़ा ही प्राप्त करना उत्तम है।

9 The heart of man deviseth his way, And Jehovah establisheth his step.मनुष्य मन में अपने मार्ग पर विचार करता है, परन्तु यहोवा ही उसके पैरों को स्थिर करता है।

10 An oath `is' on the lips of a king, In judgment his mouth trespasseth not.राजा के मुंह से दैवी वाणी निकलती है, न्याय करने में उस से चूक नहीं होती।

11 A just beam and balances `are' Jehovah's, His work `are' all the stones of the bag.सच्चा तराजू और पलड़े यहोवा की ओर से होते हैं, थैली में जितने बटखरे हैं, सब उसी के बनवाए हुए हैं।

12 An abomination to kings `is' doing wickedness, For by righteousness is a throne established.दुष्टता करना राजाओं के लिये घृणित काम है, क्योंकि उनकी गद्दी धर्म ही से स्थिर रहती है।

13 The delight of kings `are' righteous lips, And whoso is speaking uprightly he loveth,धर्म की बात बोलने वालों से राजा प्रसन्न होता है, और जो सीधी बातें बोलता है, उस से वह प्रेम रखता है।

14 The fury of a king `is' messengers of death, And a wise man pacifieth it.राजा का क्रोध मृत्यु के दूत के समान है, परन्तु बुद्धिमान मनुष्य उस को ठण्डा करता है।

15 In the light of a king's face `is' life, And his good-will `is' as a cloud of the latter rain.राजा के मुख की चमक में जीवन रहता है, और उसकी प्रसन्नता बरसात के अन्त की घटा के समान होती है।

16 To get wisdom -- how much better than gold, And to get understanding to be chosen than silver!बुद्धि की प्राप्ति चोखे सोने से क्या ही उत्तम है! और समझ की प्राप्ति चान्दी से अति योग्य है।

17 A highway of the upright `is', `Turn from evil,' Whoso is preserving his soul is watching his way.बुराई से हटना सीधे लोगों के लिये राजमार्ग है, जो अपने चाल चलन की चौकसी करता, वह अपने प्राण की भी रक्षा करता है।

18 Before destruction `is' pride, And before stumbling -- a haughty spirit.'विनाश से पहिले गर्व, और ठोकर खाने से पहिले घमण्ड होता है।

19 Better is humility of spirit with the poor, Than to apportion spoil with the proud.घमण्डियों के संग लूट बांट लेने से, दीन लोगों के संग नम्र भाव से रहना उत्तम है।

20 The wise in any matter findeth good, And whoso is trusting in Jehovah, O his happiness.जो वचन पर मन लगाता, वह कल्याण पाता है, और जो यहोवा पर भरोसा रखता, वह धन्य होता है।

21 To the wise in heart is called, `Intelligent,' And sweetness of lips increaseth learning.जिसके हृदय में बुद्धि है, वह समझ वाला कहलाता है, और मधुर वाणी के द्वारा ज्ञान बढ़ता है।

22 A fountain of life `is' understanding to its possessors, The instruction of fools is folly.जिसके बुद्धि है, उसके लिये वह जीवन का सोता है, परन्तु मूढ़ों को शिक्षा देना मूढ़ता ही होती है।

23 The heart of the wise causeth his mouth to act wisely, And by his lips he increaseth learning,बुद्धिमान का मन उसके मुंह पर भी बुद्धिमानी प्रगट करता है, और उसके वचन में विद्या रहती है।

24 Sayings of pleasantness `are' a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and healing to the bone.मन भावने वचन मधु भरे छते की नाईं प्राणों को मीठे लगते, और हड्डियों को हरी-भरी करते हैं।

25 There is a way right before a man, And its latter end -- ways of death.ऐसा भी मार्ग है, जो मनुष्य को सीधा देख पड़ता है, परन्तु उसके अन्त में मृत्यु ही मिलती है।

26 A labouring man hath laboured for himself, For his mouth hath caused `him' to bend over it.परिश्र्मी की लालसा उसके लिये परिश्रम करती है, उसकी भूख तो उस को उभारती रहती है।

27 A worthless man is preparing evil, And on his lips -- as a burning fire.अधर्मी मनुष्य बुराई की युक्ति निकालता है, और उसके वचनों से आग लग जाती है।

28 A froward man sendeth forth contention, A tale-bearer is separating a familiar friend.टेढ़ा मनुष्य बहुत झगड़े को उठाता है, और कानाफूसी करने वाला परम मित्रों में भी फूट करा देता है।

29 A violent man enticeth his neighbour, And hath causeth him to go in a way not good.उपद्रवी मनुष्य अपने पड़ोसी को फुसला कर कुमार्ग पर चलाता है।

30 Consulting his eyes to devise froward things, Moving his lips he hath accomplished evil.आंख मूंदने वाला छल की कल्पनाएं करता है, और ओंठ दबाने वाला बुराई करता है।

31 A crown of beauty `are' grey hairs, In the way of righteousness it is found.पक्के बाल शोभायमान मुकुट ठहरते हैं; वे धर्म के मार्ग पर चलने से प्राप्त होते हैं।

32 Better `is' the slow to anger than the mighty, And the ruler over his spirit than he who is taking a city.विलम्ब से क्रोध करना वीरता से, और अपने मन को वश में रखना, नगर के जीत लेने से उत्तम है।

33 Into the centre is the lot cast, And from Jehovah `is' all its judgment!चिट्ठी डाली जाती तो है, परन्तु उसका निकलना यहोवा ही की ओर से होता है।
