Proverbs 15 - YLT (Hindi)

1 A soft answer turneth back fury, And a grievous word raiseth up anger.कोमल उत्तर सुनने से जलजलाहट ठण्डी होती है, परन्तु कटुवचन से क्रोध धधक उठता है।

2 The tongue of the wise maketh knowledge good, And the mouth of fools uttereth folly.बुद्धिमान ज्ञान का ठीक बखान करते हैं, परन्तु मूर्खों के मुंह से मूढ़ता उबल आती है।

3 In every place are the eyes of Jehovah, Watching the evil and the good.यहोवा की आंखें सब स्थानों में लगी रहती हैं, वह बुरे भले दोनों को देखती रहती हैं।

4 A healed tongue `is' a tree of life, And perverseness in it -- a breach in the spirit.शान्ति देने वाली बात जीवन-वृक्ष है, परन्तु उलट फेर की बात से आत्मा दु:खित होती है।

5 A fool despiseth the instruction of his father, And whoso is regarding reproof is prudent.मूढ़ अपने पिता की शिक्षा का तिरस्कार करता है, परन्तु जो डांट को मानता, वह चतुर हो जाता है।

6 `In' the house of the righteous `is' abundant strength, And in the increase of the wicked -- trouble.धर्मी के घर में बहुत धन रहता है, परन्तु दुष्ट के उपार्जन में दु:ख रहता है।

7 The lips of the wise scatter knowledge, And the heart of fools `is' not right.बुद्धिमान लोग बातें करने से ज्ञान को फैलाते हैं, परन्तु मूर्खों का मन ठीक नहीं रहता।

8 The sacrifice of the wicked `is' an abomination to Jehovah, And the prayer of the upright `is' His delight.दुष्ट लोगों के बलिदान से यहोवा धृणा करता है, परन्तु वह सीधे लोगों की प्रार्थना से प्रसन्न होता है।

9 An abomination to Jehovah `is' the way of the wicked, And whoso is pursuing righteousness He loveth.दुष्ट के चाल चलन से यहोवा को घृणा आती है, परन्तु जो धर्म का पीछा करता उस से वह प्रेम रखता है।

10 Chastisement `is' grievous to him who is forsaking the path, Whoso is hating reproof dieth.जो मार्ग को छोड़ देता, उस को बड़ी ताड़ना मिलती है, और जो डांट से बैर रखता, वह अवश्य मर जाता है।

11 Sheol and destruction `are' before Jehovah, Surely also the hearts of the sons of men.जब कि अधोलोक और विनाशलोक यहोवा के साम्हने खुले रहते हैं, तो निश्चय मनुष्यों के मन भी।

12 A scorner loveth not his reprover, Unto the wise he goeth not.ठट्ठा करने वाला डांटे जाने से प्रसन्न नहीं होता, और न वह बुद्धिमानों के पास जाता है।

13 A joyful heart maketh glad the face, And by grief of heart is the spirit smitten.मन आनन्दित होने से मुख पर भी प्रसन्नता छा जाती है, परन्तु मन के दु:ख से आत्मा निराश होती है।

14 The heart of the intelligent seeketh knowledge, And the mouth of fools enjoyeth folly.समझने वाले का मन ज्ञान की खोज में रहता है, परन्तु मूर्ख लोग मूढ़ता से पेट भरते हैं।

15 All the days of the afflicted `are' evil, And gladness of heart `is' a perpetual banquet.दुखिया के सब दिन दु:ख भरे रहते हैं, परन्तु जिसका मन प्रसन्न रहता है, वह मानो नित्य भोज में जाता है।

16 Better `is' a little with the fear of Jehovah, Than much treasure, and tumult with it.घबराहट के साथ बहुत रखे हुए धन से, यहोवा के भय के साथ थोड़ा ही धन उत्तम है,

17 Better `is' an allowance of green herbs and love there, Than a fatted ox, and hatred with it.प्रेम वाले घर में साग पात का भोजन, बैर वाले घर में पाले हुए बैल का मांस खाने से उत्तम है।

18 A man of fury stirreth up contention, And the slow to anger appeaseth strife.क्रोधी पुरूष झगड़ा मचाता है, परन्तु जो विलम्ब से क्रोध करने वाला है, वह मुकद्दमों को दबा देता है।

19 The way of the slothful `is' as a hedge of briers, And the path of the upright is raised up.आलसी का मार्ग कांटों से रून्धा हुआ होता है, परन्तु सीधे लोगों का मार्ग राजमार्ग ठहरता है।

20 A wise son rejoiceth a father. And a foolish man is despising his mother.बुद्धिमान पुत्र से पिता आनन्दित होता है, परन्तु मूर्ख अपनी माता को तुच्छ जानता है।

21 Folly is joy to one lacking heart, And a man of intelligence directeth `his' going.निर्बुद्धि को मूढ़ता से आनन्द होता है, परन्तु समझ वाला मनुष्य सीधी चाल चलता है।

22 Without counsel `is' the making void of purposes, And in a multitude of counsellors it is established.बिना सम्मति की कल्पनाएं निष्फल हुआ करती हैं, परन्तु बहुत से मंत्रियों की सम्मत्ति से बात ठहरती है।

23 Joy `is' to a man in the answer of his mouth, And a word in its season -- how good!सज्जन उत्तर देने से आनन्दित होता है, और अवसर पर कहा हुआ वचन क्या ही भला होता है!

24 A path of life `is' on high for the wise, To turn aside from Sheol beneath.बुद्धिमान के लिये जीवन का मार्ग ऊपर की ओर जाता है, इस रीति से वह अधोलोक में पड़ने से बच जाता है।

25 The house of the proud Jehovah pulleth down, And He setteth up the border of the widow.यहोवा अहंकारियों के घर को ढा देता है, परन्तु विधवा के सिवाने को अटल रखता है।

26 An abomination to Jehovah `are' thoughts of wickedness, And pure `are' sayings of pleasantness.बुरी कल्पनाएं यहोवा को घिनौनी लगती हैं, परन्तु शुद्ध जन के वचन मनभावने हैं।

27 A dishonest gainer is troubling his house, And whoso is hating gifts liveth.लालची अपने घराने को दु:ख देता है, परन्तु घूस से घृणा करने वाला जीवित रहता है।

28 The heart of the righteous meditateth to answer, And the mouth of the wicked uttereth evil things.धर्मी मन में सोचता है कि क्या उत्तर दूं, परन्तु दुष्टों के मुंह से बुरी बातें उबल आती हैं।

29 Far `is' Jehovah from the wicked, And the prayer of the righteous He heareth.यहोवा दुष्टों से दूर रहता है, परन्तु धर्मियों की प्रार्थना सुनता है।

30 The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart, A good report maketh fat the bone.आंखों की चमक से मन को आनन्द होता है, और अच्छे समाचार से हड्डियां पुष्ट होती हैं।

31 An ear that is hearing the reproof of life Doth lodge among the wise.जो जीवनदायी डांट कान लगा कर सुनता है, वह बुद्धिमानों के संग ठिकाना पाता है।

32 Whoso is refusing instruction is despising his soul, And whoso is hearing reproof Is getting understanding.जो शिक्षा को सुनी-अनसुनी करता, वह अपने प्राण को तुच्छ जानता है, परन्तु जो डांट को सुनता, वह बुद्धि प्राप्त करता है।

33 The fear of Jehovah `is' the instruction of wisdom, And before honour `is' humility!यहोवा के भय मानने से शिक्षा प्राप्त होती है, और महिमा से पहिले नम्रता होती है॥
