Jeremiah 52:6
चौथे महीने के नौवें दिन से नगर में महंगी यहां तक बढ़ गई, कि लोगों के लिये कुछ रोटी न रही।

| sore was | הָרָעָ֖ב | hārāʿāb | ha-ra-AV |
| in the city, | בָּעִ֑יר | bāʿîr | ba-EER |
| so that there was | וְלֹא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| no | הָיָ֥ה | hāyâ | ha-YA |
| bread | לֶ֖חֶם | leḥem | LEH-hem |
| for the people | לְעַ֥ם | lĕʿam | leh-AM |
| of the land. | הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
