जब मैं लेट लाता, तब कहता हूँ, मैं कब उठूंगा? और रात कब बीतेगी? और पौ फटने तक छटपटाते छटपटाते उकता जाता हूँ।

When	מָתַ֣י	mātay	ma-TAI
arise, I shall	אָ֭קוּם	ʾāqûm	AH-koom
and the night	וּמִדַּד	ûmiddad	oo-mee-DAHD
be gone?	עָ֑רֶב	ʿāreb	AH-rev
full am I and	וְשָׂבַ֖עְתִּי	wĕśābaʿtî	veh-sa-VA-tee
fro and to tossings of	נְדֻדִ֣ים	nĕdudîm	neh-doo-DEEM
unto	עֲדֵי	ʿădê	uh-DAY
