life his and	וְ֝חַיָּת֗וֹ	wĕḥayyātô	VEH-ha-ya-TOH
from perishing	מֵעֲבֹ֥ר	mēʿăbōr	may-uh-VORE
by the sword.	בַּשָּֽׁלַח׃	baššālaḥ	ba-SHA-lahk
