1 और जिस समय यहोवा ने दाऊद को उसके सब शत्रुओं और शाऊल के हाथ से बचाया था, तब उसने यहोवा के लिये इस गीत के वचन गाए;
2 उसने कहा, यहोवा मेरी चट्टान, और मेरा गढ़, मेरा छुड़ाने वाला,
3 मेरा चट्टानरूपी परमेश्वर है, जिसका मैं शरणागत हूँ, मेरी ढाल, मेरा बचाने वाला सींग, मेरा ऊंचा गढ़, और मेरा शरण स्थान है, हे मेरे उद्धार कर्त्ता, तू उपद्रव से मेरा उद्धार किया करता है।
4 मैं यहोवा को जो स्तुति के योग्य है पुकारूंगा, और अपने शत्रुओं से बचाया जाऊंगा।
5 मृत्यु के तरंगों ने तो मेरे चारों ओर घेरा डाला, नास्तिकपन की धाराओं ने मुझ को घबड़ा दिया था;
6 अधोलोक की रस्सियां मेरे चारों ओर थीं, मृत्यु के फन्दे मेरे साम्हने थे।
7 अपने संकट में मैं ने यहोवा को पुकारा; और अपने परमेश्वर के सम्मुख चिल्लाया। और उसने मेरी बात को अपने मन्दिर में से सुन लिया, और मेरी दोहाई उसके कानों में पहुंची।
8 तब पृथ्वी हिल गई और डोल उठी; और आकाश की नेवें कांपकर बहुत ही हिल गई, क्योंकि वह अति क्रोधित हुआ था।
9 उसके नथनों से धुंआ निकला, और उसके मुंह से आग निकल कर भस्म करने लगी; जिस से कोयले दहक उठे।
10 और वह स्वर्ग को झुका कर नीचे उतर आया; और उसके पांवों के तले घोर अंधकार छाया था।
11 और वह करूब पर सवार हो कर उड़ा, और पवन के पंखों पर चढ़कर दिखाई दिया।
12 और उसने अपने चारों ओर के अंधियारे को, मेघों के समूह, और आकाश की काली घटाओं को अपना मण्डप बनाया।
13 उसके सम्मुख की झलक तो उसके आगे आगे थी, आग के कोयले दहक उठे।
14 यहोवा आकाश में से गरजा, और परमप्रधान ने अपनी वाणी सुनाई।
15 उसने तीर चला चला कर मेरे शत्रुओं को तितर बितर कर दिया, और बिजली गिरा गिराकर उसको परास्त कर दिया।
16 तब समुद्र की थाह दिखाई देने लगी, और जगत की नेवें खुल गई, यह तो यहोवा की डांट से, और उसके नथनों की सांस की झोंक से हुआ।
17 उसने ऊपर से हाथ बढ़ाकर मुझे थाम लिया, और मुझे गहरे जल में से खींचकर बाहर निकाला।
18 उसने मुझे मेरे बलवन्त शत्रु से, और मेरे बैरियों से, जो मुझ से अधिक सामथीं थे, मुझे छुड़ा लिया।
19 उन्होंने मेरी विपत्ति के दिन मेरा साम्हना तो किया; परन्तु यहोवा मेरा आश्रय था।
20 और उसने मुझे निकाल कर चौड़े स्थान में पहुंचाया; उसने मुझ को छुड़ाया, क्योंकि वह मुझ से प्रसन्न था।
21 यहोवा ने मुझ से मेरे धर्म के अनुसार व्यवहार किया; मेरे कामों की शुद्धता के अनुसार उसने मुझे बदला दिया।
22 क्योंकि मैं यहोवा के मार्गों पर चलता रहा, और अपने परमेश्वर से मुंह मोड़ कर दुष्ट न बना।
23 उसके सब नियम तो मेरे साम्हने बने रहे, और मैं उसकी विधियों से हट न गया।
24 और मैं उसके साथ खरा बना रहा, और अधर्म से अपने को बचाए रहा, जिस में मेरे फंसने का डर था।
25 इसलिये यहोवा ने मुझे मेरे धर्म के अनुसार बदला दिया, मेरी उस शुद्धता के अनुसार जिसे वह देखता था।
26 दयावन्त के साथ तू अपने को दयावन्त दिखाता; खरे पुरुष के साथ तू अपने को खरा दिखाता है;
27 शुद्ध के साथ तू अपने को शुद्ध दिखाता; और टेढ़े के साथ तू तिरछा बनता है।
28 और दीन लोगों को तो तू बचाता है, परन्तु अभिमानियों पर दृष्टि करके उन्हें नीचा करता है।
29 हे यहोवा, तू ही मेरा दीपक है, और यहोवा मेरे अन्धियारे को दूर करके उजियाला कर देता है।
30 तेरी सहायता से मैं दल पर धावा करता, अपने परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं शहरपनाह को फांद जाता हूँ।
31 ईश्वर की गति खरी है; यहोवा का वचन ताया हुआ है; वह अपने सब शरणागतों की ढाल है।
32 यहोवा को छोड़ क्या कोई ईश्वर है? हमारे परमेश्वर को छोड़ क्या और कोई चट्टान है?
33 यह वही ईश्वर है, जो मेरा अति दृढ़ क़िला है, वह खरे मनुष्य को अपने मार्ग में लिए चलता है।
34 वह मेरे पैरों को हरिणियों के से बना देता है, और मुझे ऊंचे स्थानों पर खड़ा करता है।
35 वह मेरे हाथों को युद्ध करना सिखाता है, यहां तक कि मेरी बांहें पीतल के धनुष को झुका देती हैं।
36 और तू ने मुझ को अपने उद्धार की ढाल दी है, और तेरी नम्रता मुझे बढ़ाती है।
37 तू मेरे पैरों के लिये स्थान चौड़ा करता है, और मेरे पैर नहीं फिसले।
38 मैं ने अपने शत्रुओं का पीछा करके उन्हें सत्यानाश कर दिया, और जब तक उनका अन्त न किया तब तक न लौटा।
39 और मैं ने उनका अन्त किया; और उन्हें ऐसा छेद डाला है कि वे उठ नहीं सकते; वरन वे तो मेरे पांवों के नीचे गिरे पड़े हैं।
40 और तू ने युद्ध के लिये मेरी कमर बलवन्त की; और मेरे विरोधियों को मेरे ही साम्हने परास्त कर दिया।
41 और तू ने मेरे शत्रुओं की पीठ मुझे दिखाई, ताकि मैं अपने बैरियों को काट डालूं।
42 उन्होंने बाट तो जोही, परन्तु कोई बचाने वाला न मिला; उन्होंने यहोवा की भी बाट जोही, परन्तु उसने उन को कोई उत्तर न दिया।
43 तब मैं ने उन को कूट कूटकर भूमि की धूलि के समान कर दिया, मैं ने उन्हें सड़कों और गली कूचों की कीचड़ के समान पटक कर चारों ओर फैला दिया।
44 फिर तू ने मुझे प्रजा के झगड़ों से छुड़ाकर अन्य जातियों का प्रधान होने के लिये मेरी रक्षा की; जिन लोगों को मैं न जानता था वे भी मेरे आधीन हो जाएंगे।
45 परदेशी मेरी चापलूसी करेंगे; वे मेरा नाम सुनते ही मेरे वश में आएंगे।
46 परदेशी मुर्झाएंगे, और अपने कोठों में से थरथराते हुए निकलेंगे।
47 यहोवा जीवित है; मेरी चट्टान धन्य है, और परमेश्वर जो मेरे उद्धार की चट्टान है, उसकी महिमा हो।
48 धन्य है मेरा पलटा लेनेवाला ईश्वर, जो देश देश के लोगों को मेरे वश में कर देता है,
49 और मुझे मेरे शत्रुओं के बीच से निकालता है; हां, तू मुझे मेरे विरोधियों से ऊंचा करता है, और उपद्रवी पुरुष से बचाता है।
50 इस कारण, हे यहोवा, मैं जाति जाति के साम्हने तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा, और तेरे नाम का भजन गाऊंगा।

1 And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
5 When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
7 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
8 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
13 Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
14 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17 He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the Lord was my stay.
20 He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21 The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.
22 For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
24 I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
25 Therefore the Lord hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
26 With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
27 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
29 For thou art my lamp, O Lord: and the Lord will lighten my darkness.
30 For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
32 For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
34 He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
35 He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
38 I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
39 And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
41 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
42 They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the Lord, but he answered them not.
43 Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
44 Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
45 Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
46 Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
47 The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
48 It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
49 And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.

1 అప్పుడు యోసేపు తన యొద్ద నిలిచినవారందరి యెదుట తన్ను తాను అణచుకొనజాలకనా యొద్దనుండి ప్రతి మనుష్యుని వెలుపలికి పంపి వేయుడని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పెను. యోసేపు తన సహోదరుల
Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.
2 అతడు ఎలుగెత్తి యేడ్వగా ఐగుప్తీయులును ఫరో యింటివారును వినిరి.
And he wept aloud: and the Egyptians and the house of Pharaoh heard.

And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt.
5 అయినను నేనిక్కడికి వచ్చు నట్లు మీరు నన్ను అమి్మవేసినందుకు దుఃఖపడకుడి; అది మీకు సంతాపము పుట్టింప నియ్యకుడి; ప్రాణరక్షణ కొరకు దేవుడు మీకు ముందుగా నన్ను పంపించె
Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life.
6 రెండు సంవత్సరములనుండి కరవు దేశములో నున్నది. సేద్యమైనను కోతయైనను లేని సంవత్సరములు ఇంక అయిదు వచ్చును. మిమ్మును ఆశ్చర్యముగ రక్షించి దేశ ములో మిమ్మును శేషముగా నిలుపుటకును
For these two years hath the famine been in the land: and yet there are five years, in the which there shall neither be earing nor harvest.
7 ప్రాణముతో కాపాడుటకును దేవుడు మీకు ముందుగా నన్ను పంపిం చెను.
And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
8 కాబట్టి దేవుడేగాని మీరు నన్నిక్కడికి పంపలేదు. ఆయన నన్ను ఫరోకు తండ్రిగాను అతని యింటివారి కందరికి ప్రభువుగాను ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటిమీద ఏలికగాను నియమించెను.
So now it was not you that sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.
9 మీరు త్వరగా నా తండ్రి యొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతనితోనీ కుమారుడైన యోసేపుదేవుడు నన్ను ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటికి ప్రభువుగా నియ మించెను, నా యొద్దకు రమ్ము, అక్కడ ఉండవద్దు;
Haste ye, and go up to my father, and say unto him, Thus saith thy son Joseph, God hath made me lord of all Egypt: come down unto me, tarry not:
10 నీవు గోషెను దేశమందు నివసించెదవు, అప్పుడు నీవును నీ పిల్లలును నీ పిల్లల పిల్లలును నీ గొఱ్ఱలమందలును నీ పశువు లును నీకు కలిగినది యావత్తును నాకు సమీపముగా నుండును.
And thou shalt dwell in the land of Goshen, and thou shalt be near unto me, thou, and thy children, and thy children’s children, and thy flocks, and thy herds, and all that thou hast:
11 ఇకను అయిదు కరవు సంవత్సరములు వచ్చును గనుక నీకును నీ యింటి వారికిని నీకు కలిగినదంతటికిని పేదరికము రాకుండ అక్కడ నిన్ను పోషించెదనన్నాడని చెప్పుడి.
And there will I nourish thee; for yet there are five years of famine; lest thou, and thy household, and all that thou hast, come to poverty.
12 ఇదిగో మీతో మాటలాడుచున్నది నా నోరే అని మీ కన్నులును నా తమ్ముడైన బెన్యామీను కన్నులును చూచుచున్నవి.
And, behold, your eyes see, and the eyes of my brother Benjamin, that it is my mouth that speaketh unto you.
13 ఐగుప్తులో నాకు కలిగిన సమస్త ఘనతను, మీరు చూచినది యావత్తు నా తండ్రికి తెలియచేసి త్వరగా నా తండ్రిని ఇక్కడికి తీసి కొనిరండని తన సహోదరులతో చెప్పి
And ye shall tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither.
14 తన తమ్ము డైన బెన్యామీను మెడమీద పడి యేడ్చెను; బెన్యామీను అతని మెడమీదపడి యేడ్చెను.
And he fell upon his brother Benjamin’s neck, and wept; and Benjamin wept upon his neck.
15 అతడు తన సహోదరులందరిని ముద్దు పెట్టు కొని వారిమీద పడి యేడ్చిన తరువాత అతని సహోదరులు అతనితో మాటలాడిరి.
Moreover he kissed all his brethren, and wept upon them: and after that his brethren talked with him.

And the fame thereof was heard in Pharaoh’s house, saying, Joseph’s brethren are come: and it pleased Pharaoh well, and his servants.
17 అప్పుడు ఫరో యోసేపుతో ఇట్లనెనునీవు నీ సహోదరులను చూచిమీరీలాగు చేయుడి, మీ పశువులమీద బరువులు కట్టి కనాను దేశమునకు వెళ్లి
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;
18 మీ తండ్రిని మీ యింటివారిని వెంట బెట్టుకొని నా యొద్దకు రండి; ఐగుప్తు దేశమందలి మంచి వస్తువులను మీకెచ్చెదను, ఈ దేశముయొక్క సారమును మీరు అనుభవించెదరు.
And take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land.
19 నీకు ఆజ్ఞయైనది గదా? దీని చేయుడి, మీ పిల్లలకొరకును మీ భార్యలకొరకును ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బండ్లను తీసికొనిపోయి మీ తండ్రిని వెంటబెట్టుకొని రండి.
Now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of Egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.
20 ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటిలోనున్న మంచి వస్తువులు మీవే అగును గనుక మీ సామగ్రిని లక్ష్యపెట్టకుడని చెప్పుమనగా
Also regard not your stuff; for the good of all the land of Egypt is yours.
21 ఇశ్రాయేలు కుమారులు ఆలాగుననే చేసిరి. యోసేపు ఫరోమాట చొప్పన వారికి బండ్లను ఇప్పించెను; మార్గమునకు ఆహారము ఇప్పించెను.
And the children of Israel did so: and Joseph gave them wagons, according to the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them provision for the way.
22 అతడు వారికి రెండేసి దుస్తుల బట్టలు ఇచ్చెను; బెన్యా మీనుకు మూడువందల తులముల వెండియును ఐదు దుస్తుల బట్టలు ఇచ్చెను,

24 అప్పుడతడు తన సహోదరులను సాగనంపి వారు బయలుదేరుచుండగామార్గమందు కలహ పడకుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.
So he sent his brethren away, and they departed: and he said unto them, See that ye fall not out by the way.
25 వారు ఐగుప్తునుండి బయలు దేరి కనాను దేశమునకు తన తండ్రియైన యాకోబు నొద్దకు వచ్చి
And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father,
26 యోసేపు ఇంక బ్రదికియుండి ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటిని ఏలుచున్నాడని అతనికి తెలియచేసిరి. అయితే అతడు వారి మాట నమ్మలేదు గనుక అతడు నిశ్చేష్టుడాయెను.
And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob’s heart fainted, for he believed them not.

And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:

And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.
