Genesis 6:13
तब परमेश्वर ने नूह से कहा, सब प्राणियों के अन्त करने का प्रश्न मेरे साम्हने आ गया है; क्योंकि उनके कारण पृथ्वी उपद्रव से भर गई है, इसलिये मैं उन को पृथ्वी समेत नाश कर डालूंगा।

| before me; | לְפָנַ֔י | lĕpānay | leh-fa-NAI |
| for | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| earth the | מָלְאָ֥ה | molʾâ | mole-AH |
| is filled with | הָאָ֛רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| violence | חָמָ֖ס | ḥāmās | ha-MAHS |
| through them; | מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם | mippĕnêhem | mee-peh-nay-HEM |
| behold, and, | וְהִנְנִ֥י | wĕhinnî | veh-heen-NEE |
| I will destroy | מַשְׁחִיתָ֖ם | mašḥîtām | mahsh-hee-TAHM |
