Genesis 10 in Hindi

1 नूह के पुत्र जो शेम, हाम और येपेत थे उनके पुत्र जलप्रलय के पश्चात उत्पन्न हुए: उनकी वंशावली यह है॥

2 येपेत के पुत्र: गोमेर, मागोग, मादै, यावान, तूबल, मेशेक, और तीरास हुए।

3 और गोमेर के पुत्र: अशकनज, रीपत, और तोगर्मा हुए।

4 और यावान के वंश में एलीशा, और तर्शीश, और कित्ती, और दोदानी लोग हुए।

5 इनके वंश अन्यजातियों के द्वीपों के देशों में ऐसे बंट गए, कि वे भिन्न भिन्न भाषाओं, कुलों, और जातियों के अनुसार अलग अलग हो गए॥

6 फिर हाम के पुत्र: कूश, और मिस्र, और फूत और कनान हुए।

7 और कूश के पुत्र सबा, हवीला, सबता, रामा, और सबूतका हुए: और रामा के पुत्र शबा और ददान हुए।

8 और कूश के वंश में निम्रोद भी हुआ; पृथ्वी पर पहिला वीर वही हुआ है।

9 वही यहोवा की दृष्टि में पराक्रमी शिकार खेलने वाला ठहरा, इस से यह कहावत चली है; कि निम्रोद के समान यहोवा की दृष्टि में पराक्रमी शिकार खेलने वाला।

10 और उसके राज्य का आरम्भ शिनार देश में बाबुल, अक्कद, और कलने हुआ।

11 उस देश से वह निकल कर अश्शूर को गया, और नीनवे, रहोबोतीर, और कालह को,

12 और नीनवे और कालह के बीच रेसेन है, उसे भी बसाया, बड़ा नगर यही है।

13 और मिस्र के वंश में लूदी, अनामी, लहाबी, नप्तूही,

14 और पत्रुसी, कसलूही, और कप्तोरी लोग हुए, कसलूहियों में से तो पलिश्ती लोग निकले॥

15 फिर कनान के वंश में उसका ज्येष्ठ सीदोन, तब हित्त,

16 और यबूसी, एमोरी, गिर्गाशी,

17 हिव्वी, अर्की, सीनी,

18 अर्वदी, समारी, और हमाती लोग भी हुए: फिर कनानियों के कुल भी फैल गए।

19 और कनानियों का सिवाना सीदोन से ले कर गरार के मार्ग से हो कर अज्जा तक और फिर सदोम और अमोरा और अदमा और सबोयीम के मार्ग से हो कर लाशा तक हुआ।

20 हाम के वंश में ये ही हुए; और ये भिन्न भिन्न कुलों, भाषाओं, देशों, और जातियों के अनुसार अलग अलग हो गए॥

21 फिर शेम, जो सब एबेरवंशियों का मूलपुरूष हुआ, और जो येपेत का ज्येष्ठ भाई था, उसके भी पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए।

22 शेम के पुत्र: एलाम, अश्शूर, अर्पक्षद, लूद और आराम हुए।

23 और आराम के पुत्र: ऊस, हूल, गेतेर और मश हुए।

24 और अर्पक्षद ने शेलह को, और शेलह ने एबेर को जन्म दिया।

25 और एबेर के दो पुत्र उत्पन्न हुए, एक का नाम पेलेग इस कारण रखा गया कि उसके दिनों में पृथ्वी बंट गई, और उसके भाई का नाम योक्तान है।

26 और योक्तान ने अल्मोदाद, शेलेप, हसर्मावेत, थेरह,

27 यदोरवाम, ऊजाल, दिक्ला,

28 ओबाल, अबीमाएल, शबा,

29 ओपीर, हवीला, और योबाब को जन्म दिया: ये ही सब योक्तान के पुत्र हुए।

30 इनके रहने का स्थान मेशा से ले कर सपारा जो पूर्व में एक पहाड़ है, उसके मार्ग तक हुआ।

31 शेम के पुत्र ये ही हुए; और ये भिन्न भिन्न कुलों, भाषाओं, देशों और जातियों के अनुसार अलग अलग हो गए॥

32 नूह के पुत्रों के घराने ये ही हैं: और उनकी जातियों के अनुसार उनकी वंशावलियां ये ही हैं; और जलप्रलय के पश्चात पृथ्वी भर की जातियां इन्हीं में से हो कर बंट गई॥

1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

13 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

14 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

15 And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

26 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

27 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
