Acts 11 - DBY (Hindi)

1 And the apostles and the brethren who were in Judaea heard that the nations also had received the word of God;और प्रेरितों और भाइयों ने जो यहूदिया में थे सुना, कि अन्यजातियों ने भी परमेश्वर का वचन मान लिया है।

2 and when Peter went up to Jerusalem, they of the circumcision contended with him,और जब पतरस यरूशलेम में आया, तो खतना किए हुए लोग उस से वाद-विवाद करने लगे।

3 saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised and hast eaten with them.कि तू ने खतनारिहत लोगों के यहां जाकर उन से साथ खाया।

4 But Peter began and set forth [the matter] to them in order, saying,तब पतरस ने उन्हें आरम्भ से क्रमानुसार कह सुनाया;

5 I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in an ecstasy I saw a vision, a certain vessel descending like a great sheet, let down by four corners out of heaven, and it came even to me:कि मैं याफा नगर में प्रार्थना कर रहा था, और बेसुध होकर एक दर्शन देखा, कि एक पात्र, बड़ी चादर के समान चारों कोनों से लटकाया हुआ, आकाश से उतरकर मेरे पास आया।

6 on which having fixed mine eyes, I considered, and saw the quadrupeds of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the fowls of the heaven.जब मैं ने उस पर ध्यान किया, तो पृथ्वी के चौपाए और बनपशु और रेंगने वाले जन्तु और आकाश के पक्षी देखे।

7 And I heard also a voice saying to me, Rise up, Peter, slay and eat.और यह शब्द भी सुना कि हे पतरस उठ मार और खा।

8 And I said, In no wise, Lord, for common or unclean has never entered into my mouth.मैं ने कहा, नहीं प्रभु, नहीं, क्योंकि कोई अपवित्र था अशुद्ध वस्तु मेरे मुंह में कभी नहीं गई।

9 And a voice answered the second time out of heaven, What God has cleansed, do not *thou* make common.इस के उत्तर में आकाश से दूसरी बार शब्द हुआ, कि जो कुछ परमेश्वर ने शुद्ध ठहराया है, उसे अशुद्ध मत कह।

10 And this took place thrice, and again all was drawn up into heaven;तीन बार ऐसा ही हुआ; तब सब कुछ फिर आकाश पर खींच लिया गया।

11 and lo, immediately three men were at the house in which I was, sent to me from Caesarea.और देखो, तुरन्त तीन मनुष्य जो कैसरिया से मेरे पास भेजे गए थे, उस घर पर जिस में हम थे, आ खड़े हुए।

12 And the Spirit said to me to go with them, nothing doubting. And there went with me these six brethren also, and we entered into the house of the man,तब आत्मा ने मुझ से उन के साथ बेखटके हो लेने को कहा, और ये छ: भाई भी मेरे साथ हो लिए; और हम उस मनुष्य के घर में गए।

13 and he related to us how he had seen the angel in his house, standing and saying [to him], Send [men] to Joppa and fetch Simon, who is surnamed Peter,और उस ने बताया, कि मैं ने एक स्वर्गदूत को अपने घर में खड़ा देखा, जिस ने मुझ से कहा, कि याफा में मनुष्य भेजकर शमौन को जो पतरस कहलाता है, बुलवा ले।

14 who shall speak words to thee whereby *thou* shalt be saved, thou and all thy house.वह तुम से ऐसी बातें कहेगा, जिन के द्वारा तू और तेरा सारा घराना उद्धार पाएगा।

15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them even as upon us also at the beginning.जब मैं बातें करने लगा, तो पवित्र आत्मा उन पर उसी रीति से उतरा, जिस रीति से आरम्भ में हम पर उतरा था।

16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John baptised with water, but *ye* shall be baptised with [the] Holy Spirit.तब मुझे प्रभु का वह वचन स्मरण आया; जो उस ने कहा; कि यूहन्ना ने तो पानी से बपतिस्मा दिया, परन्तु तुम पवित्र आत्मा से बपतिस्मा पाओगे।

17 If then God has given them the same gift as also to us when we had believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who indeed was *I* to be able to forbid God?सो जब कि परमेश्वर ने उन्हें भी वही दान दिया, जो हमें प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करने से मिला था; तो मैं कौन था जो परमेश्वर को रोक सकता

18 And when they heard these things they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then indeed God has to the nations also granted repentance to life.यह सुनकर, वे चुप रहे, और परमेश्वर की बड़ाई करके कहने लगे, तब तो परमेश्वर ने अन्यजातियों को भी जीवन के लिये मन फिराव का दान दिया है॥

19 They then who had been scattered abroad through the tribulation that took place on the occasion of Stephen, passed through [the country] to Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one but to Jews alone.सो जो लोग उस क्लेश के मारे जो स्तिफनुस के कारण पड़ा था, तित्तर बित्तर हो गए थे, वे फिरते फिरते फीनीके और कुप्रुस और अन्ताकिया में पहुंचे; परन्तु यहूदियों को छोड़ किसी और को वचन न सुनाते थे।

20 But there were certain of them, Cyprians and Cyrenians, who entering into Antioch spoke to the Greeks also, announcing the glad tidings of the Lord Jesus.परन्तु उन में से कितने कुप्रुसी और कुरेनी थे, जो अन्ताकिया में आकर युनानियों को भी प्रभु यीशु का सुसमचार की बातें सुनाने लगे।

21 And [the] Lord's hand was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.और प्रभु का हाथ उन पर था, और बहुत लोग विश्वास करके प्रभु की ओर फिरे।

22 And the report concerning them reached the ears of the assembly which was in Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to go through as far as Antioch:तब उन की चर्चा यरूशलेम की कलीसिया के सुनने में आई, और उन्होंने बरनबास को अन्ताकिया भेजा।

23 who, having arrived and seeing the grace of God, rejoiced, and exhorted all with purpose of heart to abide with the Lord;वह वहां पहुंचकर, और परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह को देखकर आनन्दित हुआ; और सब को उपदेश दिया कि तन मन लगाकर प्रभु से लिपटे रहो।

24 for he was a good man and full of [the] Holy Spirit and of faith; and a large crowd [of people] were added to the Lord.क्योंकि वह एक भला मनुष्य था; और पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण था: और और बहुत से लोग प्रभु में आ मिले।

25 And he went away to Tarsus to seek out Saul.तब वह शाऊल को ढूंढने के लिये तरसुस को चला गया।

26 And having found [him], he brought him to Antioch. And so it was with them that for a whole year they were gathered together in the assembly and taught a large crowd: and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.और जब उन से मिला तो उसे अन्ताकिया में लाया, और ऐसा हुआ कि वे एक वर्ष तक कलीसिया के साथ मिलते और बहुत लोगों को उपदेश देते रहे, और चेले सब से पहिले अन्ताकिया ही में मसीही कहलाए॥

27 Now in these days prophets went down from Jerusalem to Antioch;उन्हीं दिनों में कई भविष्यद्वक्ता यरूशलेम से अन्ताकिया में आए।

28 and one from among them, by name Agabus, rose up and signified by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine over all the inhabited earth, which also came to pass under Claudius.उन में से अगबुस नाम एक ने खड़े होकर आत्मा की प्रेरणा से यह बताया, कि सारे जगत में बड़ा अकाल पकेगा, और वह अकाल क्लौदियुस के समय में पड़ा।

29 And they determined, according as any one of the disciples was well off, each of them to send to the brethren who dwelt in Judaea, to minister [to them];तब चेलों ने ठहराया, कि हर एक अपनी अपनी पूंजी के अनुसार यहूदिया में रहने वाले भाइयों की सेवा के लिये कुछ भेजे।

30 which also they did, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.और उन्होंने ऐसा ही किया; और बरनबास और शाऊल के हाथ प्राचीनों के पास कुछ भेज दिया॥
