2 Kings 24
1 उसके दिनों में बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने चढाई की और यहोयाकीम तीन वर्ष तक उसके आधीन रहा; तब उसने फिर कर उस से बलवा किया।
2 तब यहावा ने उसके विरुद्ध और यहूदा को नाश करने के लिये कसदियों, अरामियों, मोआबियों और अम्मोनियों के दल भेजे, यह यहोवा के उस वचन के अनुसार हुआ, जो उसने अपने दास भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के द्वारा कहा था।
3 नि:सन्देह यह यहूदा पर यहोवा की आज्ञा से हुआ, ताकि वह उन को अपने साम्हने से दूर करे। यह मनश्शे के सब पापों के कारण हुआ।
4 और निर्दोषों के उस खून के कारण जो उसने किया था; क्योंकि उसने यरूशलेम को निर्दोषों के खून से भर दिया था, जिस को यहोवा ने क्षमा करना न चाहा।
5 यहोयाकीम के और सब काम जो उसने किए, वह क्या यहूदा के राजाओं के इतिहास की पुस्तक में नहीं लिखे हैं?
6 निदान यहोयाकीम अपने पुरखाओं के संग सो गया और उसका पुत्र यहोयाकीन उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।
7 और मिस्र का राजा अपने देश से बाहर फिर कभी न आया, क्योंकि बाबेल के राजा ने मिस्र के नाले से ले कर परात महानद तक जितना देश मिस्र के राजा का था, सब को अपने वश में कर लिया था।
8 जब यहोयाकीन राज्य करने लगा, तब वह अठारह वर्ष का था, और तीन महीने तक यरूशलेम में राज्य करता रहा; और उसकी माता का नाम नहुश्ता था, जो यरूशलेम के एलनातान की बेटी थी।
9 उसने ठीक अपने पिता की नाईं वह किया, जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा है।
10 उसके दिनों में बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर के कर्मचारियों ने यरूशलेम पर चढ़ाई कर के नगर को घेर लिया।
11 और जब बाबेल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर के कर्मचारी नगर को घेरे हुए थे, तब वह आप वहां आ गया।
12 और यहूदा का राजा यहोयाकीन अपनी माता और कर्मचारियों, हाकिमों और खोजों को संग ले कर बाबेल के राजा के पास गया, और बाबेल के राजा ने अपने राज्य के आठवें वर्ष मे उन को पकड़ लिया।
13 तब उसने यहोवा के भवन में और राजभवन में रखा हुआ पूरा धन वहां से निकाल लिया और सोने के जो पात्र इस्राएल के राजा सुलैमान ने बना कर यहोवा के मन्दिर में रखे थे, उन सभों को उसने टुकड़े टुकड़े कर डाला, जैसा कि यहोवा ने कहा था।
14 फिर वह पूरे यरूशलेम को अर्थात सब हाकिमों और सब धनवानों को जो मिल कर दस हजार थे, और सब कारीगरों और लोहारों को बन्धुआ कर के ले गया, यहां तक कि साधारण लोगों में से कंगालों को छोड़ और कोई न रह गया।
15 और वह यहोयाकीन को बाबेल में ले गया और उसकी माता और स्त्रियों और खोजों को और देश के बड़े लोगों को वह बन्धुआ कर के यरूशलेम से बाबेल को ले गया।
16 और सब धनवान जो सात हजार थे, और कारीगर और लोहार जो मिल कर एक हजार थे, और वे सब वीर और युद्ध के योग्य थे, उन्हें बाबेल का राजा बन्धुआ कर के बाबेल को ले गया।
17 और बाबेल के राजा ने उसके स्थान पर उसके चाचा मत्तन्याह को राजा नियुक्त किया और उसका नाम बदलकर सिदकिय्याह रखा।
18 जब सिदकिय्याह राज्य करने लगा, तब वह इक्कीस वर्ष का था, और यरूशलेम में ग्यारह वर्ष तक राज्य करता रहा; और उसकी माता का नाम हमूतल था, जो लिब्नावासी यिर्मयाह की बेटी थी।
19 उसने ठीक यहोयाकीम की लीक पर चलकर वही किया जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा है।
20 क्योंकि यहोवा के कोप के कारण यरूशलेम और यहूदा को ऐसी दशा हुई, कि अन्त में उसने उन को अपने साम्हने से दूर किया।
1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
2 And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
3 Surely at the commandment of the Lord came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the Lord would not pardon.
5 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
6 So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
7 And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother’s name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.
10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
11 And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
12 And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
13 And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, as the Lord had said.
14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father’s brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
18 Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
19 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
20 For through the anger of the Lord it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

1 বিশ্বাসের জন্য আমরা ঈশ্বরের সামনে ধার্মিক প্রতিপন্ন হয়েছি বলে, প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের মধ্য দিয়ে ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে আমাদের শান্তি চুক্তি হয়েছে৷
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 খ্রীষ্টের জন্যই আমরা আমাদের বিশ্বাসের দ্বারা ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহে প্রবেশ করেছি এবং দাঁড়িয়ে আছি৷ আমরা আনন্দ করি য়ে এই প্রত্যাশা নিয়ে আমরা একদিন ঈশ্বরের মহিমার অংশীদার হব৷
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 এমন কি সমস্ত দুঃখ কষ্টের মধ্যে আমরা আনন্দ করি, কারণ আমরা জানি য়ে এইসব দুঃখ কষ্ট আমাদের ধৈর্য্যের পথে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যায়৷
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 ধৈর্য্য আমাদের স্বভাবকে খাঁটি করে তোলে এবং এই খাঁটি স্বভাবের ফলে জীবনে আশার উত্পত্তি হয়৷
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5 এই প্রত্যাশা কখনই আমাদের নিরাশ করে না, কারণ পবিত্র আত্মার মাধ্যমে ঈশ্বরের ভালবাসা আমাদের অন্তরে ঢেলে দেওয়া হয়েছে৷ সেই পবিত্র আত্মাকে আমরা ঈশ্বরের দানরূপে পেয়েছি৷
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 আমরা যখন শক্তিহীন ছিলাম তখন খ্রীষ্ট আমাদের জন্য প্রাণ দিলেন, উপযুক্ত সময়ে খ্রীষ্ট আমাদের মত দুষ্ট লোকদের জন্য প্রাণ দিলেন৷
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 কোন সত্ লোকের জন্য কেউ নিজের প্রাণ দেয় না বললেই চলে৷ যিনি অন্য়ের উপকার করেছেন এমন লোকের জন্য হয়তো বা কেউ সাহস করে প্রাণ দিলেও দিতে পারে৷
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 কিন্তু আমরা যখন পাপী ছিলাম খ্রীষ্ট তখনও আমাদের জন্য প্রাণ দিলেন; আর এইভাবে ঈশ্বর দেখালেন য়ে তিনি আমাদের ভালবাসেন৷
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 ঈশ্বর খ্রীষ্টের রক্তের মাধ্যমে আমাদের ধার্মিক প্রতিপন্ন করেছেন; তবে এই সত্যটি আরও কত সুনিশ্চিত য়ে খ্রীষ্টের মাধ্যমে আমরা ঈশ্বরের ক্রোধ থেকে রক্ষা পাব৷
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 আমরা যখন তাঁর শত্রু ছিলাম তখন যদি ঈশ্বর তাঁর পুত্রের মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমে তাঁর সঙ্গে আমাদের মিলন করিয়ে নিলেন, তাহলে মিলনের পরে এটা আরও কত নিশ্চিত য়ে আমরা এখন তাঁর পুত্রের জীবনের মাধ্যমে উদ্ধার পাব৷
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 শুধু য়ে উদ্ধার পাব তা নয়, এখন আমরা ঈশ্বরে আনন্দ করি৷ আমরা আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের মাধ্যমে সেই আনন্দ পেয়েছি, য়াঁর মাধ্যমে আমরা এখন ঈশ্বরের মিত্রে পরিণত হয়েছি৷
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
12 একজনের মধ্য দিয়ে য়েমন পৃথিবীতে পাপ এসেছিল, তেমনি পাপের সাথে এসেছে মৃত্যু৷ সকল মানুষ পাপ করেছে আর পাপ করার জন্যই সকলের কাছে মৃত্যু এল৷
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
13 মোশির বিধি-ব্যবস্থা আসার আগে জগতে পাপ ছিল, অবশ্য তখন বিধি-ব্যবস্থা ছিল না বলে ঈশ্বর লোকদের পাপ গন্য করতেন না;
(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 কিন্তু আদমের সময় থেকে মোশির সময় পর্যন্ত মৃত্যু সমানে রাজত্ব করছিল৷ ঈশ্বরের আদেশ অমান্য করার দরুন আদম পাপ করেছিলেন৷ কিন্তু যাঁরা আদমকে দেওয়া ঐসব আদেশ লঙঘন করে পাপ করে নি, মৃত্যু তাদের ওপরেও রাজত্ব করছিল৷আসলে যিনি আসছিলেন, আদম ছিলেন তাঁর প্রতিরূপ৷
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
15 কিন্তু আদমের অপরাধ য়েরকম ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহ দান সেই রকমের নয়, কারণ ঐ একটি লোকের পাপের দরুন অনেকের মৃত্যু হল, সেইরকমভাবেই একজন ব্যক্তি যীশু খ্রীষ্টের মধ্য দিয়ে বহুলোক ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহদানে জীবন লাভ করল৷
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 আর ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহদানের মধ্য দিয়ে যা এল তা আদমের একটি পাপের ফল থেকে ভিন্ন, কারণ একটি পাপের জন্য নেমে এসেছিল বিচার ও পরে দণ্ডাজ্ঞা; কিন্তু বহুলোকের পাপের পর এল ঈশ্বরের বিনামূল্যের দান৷
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 একজন পাপ করল, আর সেই এক ব্যক্তির অপরাধের জন্য সকলের ওপর মৃত্যু রাজত্ব করল; কিন্তু এখন যাঁরা ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে অনুগ্রহ লাভ করে ও ধার্মিক গন্য হবার অধিকার দান হিসেবে পায়, তারা নিশ্চয়ই সেই এক ব্যক্তি অর্থাত্ যীশু খ্রীষ্টের মাধ্যমে জীবনের পরিপূর্ণতা নিয়ে রাজত্ব করবে৷
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 তাই আদমের একটি পাপ য়েমন সকলের উপরে মৃত্যুদণ্ড নিয়ে এল, সেই একইভাবে খ্রীষ্টের একটি ন্যায় কাজের মধ্য দিয়ে তাঁর দ্বারা সকলেই ঈশ্বরের সাক্ষাতে ধার্মিক প্রতিপন্ন হয়েছে আর তার ফলে তারা প্রকৃত জীবনের অধিকারী হয়েছে৷
Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 সুতরাং য়েমন একজনের অবাধ্যতার ফলে সব লোক পাপী বলে গন্য হল, সেইরকমভাবে সেই একজনের বাধ্যতার ফলে অনেকে ধার্মিক প্রতিপন্ন হবে৷
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 বিধি-ব্যবস্থা দেওয়া হয়েছিল যাতে পাপ বৃদ্ধি পায়৷ কিন্তু য়েখানে পাপের বাহুল্য হল সেখানে ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহ আরো উপচে পড়ল৷
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 এক সময় য়েমন পাপ মৃত্যুর মাধ্যমে আমাদের ওপর রাজত্ব করেছিল, সেইরকম ঈশ্বর লোকদের ওপর তাঁর মহা অনুগ্রহ দান করলেন যাতে সেই অনুগ্রহ তাদের ঈশ্বরের সাক্ষাতে ধার্মিক প্রতিপন্ন করে তোলে, আর এরই ফলে আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের দ্বারা মানুষ অনন্ত জীবন লাভ করে৷
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
