2 Kings 11:18
तब सब लोगों ने बाल के भवन को जा कर ढा दिया, और उसकी वेदियां और मूरतें भली भंति तोड़ दीं; और मतान नाम बाल के याजक को वेदियों के साम्हने ही घात किया। और याजक ने यहोवा के भवन पर अधिकारी ठहरा दिए।

| pieces in they brake | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| thoroughly, | צְלָמָיו֙ | ṣĕlāmāyw | tseh-la-mav |
| and slew | שִׁבְּר֣וּ | šibbĕrû | shee-beh-ROO |
| הֵיטֵ֔ב | hêṭēb | hay-TAVE | |
| Mattan | וְאֵ֗ת | wĕʾēt | veh-ATE |
| the priest | מַתָּן֙ | mattān | ma-TAHN |
| of Baal | כֹּהֵ֣ן | kōhēn | koh-HANE |
| before | הַבַּ֔עַל | habbaʿal | ha-BA-al |
| altars. the | הָֽרְג֖וּ | hārĕgû | ha-reh-ɡOO |
| And the priest | לִפְנֵ֣י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| appointed | הַֽמִּזְבְּח֑וֹת | hammizbĕḥôt | ha-meez-beh-HOTE |
| officers | וַיָּ֧שֶׂם | wayyāśem | va-YA-sem |
| over | הַכֹּהֵ֛ן | hakkōhēn | ha-koh-HANE |
