2 Kings 10:5
तब जो राज घराने के काम पर था, और जो नगर के ऊपर था, उन्होंने और पुरनियों और लड़के-बालों के पालने वालों ने येहू के पास यों कहला भेजा, कि हम तेरे दास हैं, जो कुछ तू हम से कहे, उसे हम करेंगे; हम किसी को राजा न बनाएंगे, जो तुझे भाए वहीं कर।

| also, and the bringers up | וְהַזְּקֵנִים֩ | wĕhazzĕqēnîm | veh-ha-zeh-kay-NEEM |
| sent children, the of | וְהָאֹֽמְנִ֨ים | wĕhāʾōmĕnîm | veh-ha-oh-meh-NEEM |
| to | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| Jehu, | יֵה֤וּא׀ | yēhûʾ | yay-HOO |
| saying, | לֵאמֹר֙ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| We | עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ | ʿăbādêkā | uh-va-DAY-ha |
| are thy servants, | אֲנַ֔חְנוּ | ʾănaḥnû | uh-NAHK-noo |
| and will do | וְכֹ֛ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| all | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| that | תֹּאמַ֥ר | tōʾmar | toh-MAHR |
| thou shalt bid | אֵלֵ֖ינוּ | ʾēlênû | ay-LAY-noo |
| נַֽעֲשֶׂ֑ה | naʿăśe | na-uh-SEH | |
| not will we us; | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| make any | נַמְלִ֣ךְ | namlik | nahm-LEEK |
| king: | אִ֔ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| do | הַטּ֥וֹב | haṭṭôb | HA-tove |
